Bachelor of Science in Zoology is a 3-year undergraduate course specializing into the scientific exploration of animals, their anatomy, physiology, evolution, ecology, and classification. The syllabus is designed to impart both theoretical ideas as well as practical exposure in the field of animal biology, ranging from invertebrates to vertebrates.

 

In the first year of study, the students are exposed to basic courses like animal diversity, genetics, cell biology, and ecology early. In the later semesters, students explore more specialized topics like developmental biology, physiology, immunology, biotechnology, and applied zoology. Laboratory studies, field research, electives, internships, and research work are also included in the syllabus to provide a solid foundation for hands-on experience and critical thinking.
