  • International conventions and treaties related to IPR (like the TRIPS Agreement, Paris Convention, Berne Convention).
  • Procedures for registering and enforcing IP rights.
  • The concepts of IP infringement, remedies, and dispute resolution.
  • The commercial aspects of IP, such as licensing, assignment, and valuation.
  • The interplay of IPR with technology, business, and international trade.

Who should study LLB in IPR?

LLB in IPR or LLM in IPR can be a great choice of career for those wanting to practise with corporate firms. Such firms require IPR law advisor, advocate, consultant to manage their patents/trademarks/trade secrets.

  • Those who enjoy keeping up with technological advancements, scientific discoveries, and trends in entertainment, fashion, and business will find this field interesting for career.
  • If you are detail oriented and have critical analytical thinking, this field is for you. IPR law involves a lot of precise drafting, research, and analysis of technical and legal documents.
