What kind of projects are to be completed in the last year of the ME Applied Electronics course?

ME Applied Electronics final year projects are typically application-oriented practical projects or research projects. Under application-oriented projects, students are expected to design or innovate their own electrical system or devices aimed at solving one of the existing issues of this field using the skills and knowledge they have gained during the course. Under research projects, students must conduct proper research on one of the arguments in this field of study and use appropriate evidence to support that argument and present it in front of the class.

What does an electrical engineer do?

An electrical engineer is in charge of designing, maintaining, or improving existing and new electrical facilities, gadgets, and equipment within an organization. They are responsible for ensuring that the organization's electrical systems and operations meet society's standards by analyzing electrical system guidelines and preparing technical specifications and topographical charts, as well as communicating with other engineering departments to improve such project’s effectiveness.

What kind of entrepreneurship opportunities are available for ME Applied Electronics graduates?

There are numerous entrepreneurial opportunities available to ME Applied Electronics graduates. Since the course graduates are well-versed in modern engineering and existing technologies, they can pursue entrepreneurial opportunities in tech innovation, drone development and operations, IoT design, smart hardware such as smart home devices, and even green technology such as environment-friendly batteries and LEDs, among other things.

Is ME Applied Electronics a good course for someone who is not good in Mathematics?

The curriculum of ME Applied Electronics is rigorous and tech intensive, and it is heavily based on physics and mathematical foundations, so a good understanding of mathematics is definitely required. However, it should be noted that all of the concepts of this study are based on basic engineering Mathematics rather than an advanced one, so even if you are not particularly good with Mathematics, a little practice and hard work will go a long way.
