The Rajasthan NEET UG exam is the entrance test for getting admission into MBBS courses in Rajasthan. There are two types of quotas for seats: the All India Quota (AIQ) and the State Quota. The All India Quota (AIQ) reserves 15% of seats in government medical colleges across India for students from any state, giving them a chance to study in different parts of the country. The State Quota reserves 85% of seats for students from Rajasthan, making it easier for local students to secure admission. Rajasthan NEET 2025 counselling is conducted online. SMS Medical College, Jaipur conducts Rajasthan MBBS counselling based on scores obtained in NEET exam.

The AIQ seats are filled through a nationwide competition, making them more challenging to obtain. On the other hand, State Quota seats are only for students from Rajasthan, so the competition is limited within the state. Understanding these quotas and the Rajasthan NEET UG cut-off marks for both government and private colleges helps students make informed decisions. Those who qualify for the NEET UG exam will be eligible to apply for MBBS admission in medical colleges across the state.

Expected Rajasthan NEET 2025 Closing Rank Cut-off

Comparing NEET scores with the previous year's cut-off may not provide accurate predictions for admission to government or private medical colleges in Rajasthan. Instead, using the All India Closing Rank, Rajasthan State Closing Rank, or Rajasthan State Reservation Category Closing Rank can give a better estimate of admission chances for a specific quota or medical college.

When using All India Rank, the comparison is made among over 15 lakh NEET applicants. If the State Rank is used, the comparison is limited to around 50,000 candidates. Using the Rajasthan Category Rank further narrows the data set to a few thousand students. A smaller data set improves the accuracy of predicting admission chances.

Factors Affecting Rajasthan NEET 2025 Cutoff

Several factors will influence the NEET 2025 cutoff for Rajasthan, determining admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the state. These include:

  1. Number of Candidates Appearing in NEET 2025
    • A higher number of applicants increases competition, leading to a higher cutoff.
  2. Difficulty Level of NEET 2025 Questions
    • If the exam is tougher, the cutoff may be lower. An easier paper could result in a higher cutoff.
  3. Total Seats Available for Rajasthan MBBS Admission
    • The number of government and private medical college seats affects the cutoff, with fewer seats pushing it higher.
  4. Scores Obtained in NEET 2025
    • The overall performance of candidates impacts the cutoff. Higher average scores can lead to an increased cutoff.
  5. Reservation Category
    • Different categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc.) have separate cutoffs based on reservation policies, affecting overall admission trends.

These factors together will determine the Rajasthan NEET cutoff for 2025, influencing seat allotment in medical and dental colleges across the state.
