RBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2026 is designed to help students build strong foundations in all key subjects such as English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, and Computer. Each subject focuses on improving specific skills, like language proficiency, logical thinking, and scientific understanding.
As per the RBSE Class 10 Exam Pattern 2026, each subject will have one written paper of 3 hours and 15 minutes. All subjects are of 80 marks, except for Science and Computer, which contain an extra section of 20 or 30 marks for practical/ internal assessment. There is no deduction of marks for wrong answers. Minimum 33% marks must be obtained by students in each subject for passing.
The syllabus in English comprises grammar, writing, reading, and two books—First Flight and Footprints Without Feet. Hindi consists of comprehension, grammar, and textbook learning from Kshitij and Kritika. Mathematics comprises Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Statistics. Science comprises Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with 13 chapters, and 20 marks are kept aside for practicals. Social Science has History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science, each having equal weightage. Sanskrit tests reading, grammar, and creative writing. Computer is divided into theory and practicals and includes subjects such as MS Excel, cyber security, software classification, and basics of the internet. If students know about the syllabus and pattern of exam properly, they can frame their study plan more efficiently and seek better marks in the 2026 board exams.
