The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination follows the marking scheme, which is given below while evaluating the results:
- In Category I
- For each correct answer, a +1 mark will be awarded.
- For each incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of -0.25 marks.
- In Category II
- For each correct answer, a +2 mark will be awarded.
- For each incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of -0.5 marks.
- In Category III
- For each correct answer, a +2 mark will be awarded.
- For each incorrect answer, there will be no negative marking.
