The Dibrugarh University Online BA Sociology exam pattern is simple and student-friendly. Students must pass each semester independently to move ahead. Students must score at least 30% marks in each part to pass. All courses in the sociology program follow this examination structure. End-of-semester exams for each subject are three hours long. Students failing a course can appear for a carry-over exam. An improvement exam is allowed only once after completing the sixth semester. Marks scored in internal exams are carried forward without change. There is no re-evaluation, but students can apply for re-scrutiny. Students must complete all six semesters within six years of admission. Sociology students must clear every paper to qualify for their degree.
