Dibrugarh University offers a two-year postgraduate program in Online MA Sociology. The university evaluated the Online program in the following ways-
- Examination is done at regular intervals.
- The exams will be conducted in two parts: a) Internal Assessment (carries 20% of the total marks), b) End term examination(carries 80% of the total marks)
- Based on the OMR or Assessment, the Internal Assessment will be conducted.
- The end-term examination will be based on the entire syllabus of the respective semesters. The controller of examinations will inform students about the dates and schedule of the examination at least 20 days before commencement. The duration of the exam will be three hours.
- The Dibrugarh University Examination Ordinance 1972 (as amended up to present) would regulate the setting of question papers, their moderation, the assessment of answer scripts, their scrutiny, the tabulation of marks, etc., and the declaration of the results.
