Note:
- Application Format: Applications must be submitted in writing or by email to the college/school/department concerned.
- Documentary Evidence: Documentary evidence in support of your withdrawal application should be attached. Examples are proof of allotment, which your state/central counselling body issued to you, and/or proof of identification, bank reference, and admission confirmation.
- Withdrawal and Refunds for Seat Allotment from Counselling: If you withdraw your seat that you accepted owing to allotment from the state/central counselling system, or from direct admission to JSS, and you have cancelled within the appropriate timeline, the fee will be refundable to you in accordance with the UGC's fees refund policy.
- Refunds will only be made to Original Bank/Card Accounts: All refunds will be paid to the original bank/card account of the student, or from the organisation or body that accepted the fee on behalf of the student. Any exceptions must include proof of identification and a copy of the beneficiary bank statements.
- Timeframe for Process of Refunds: Refunds will usually be processed within 15 working days from the date of approval and complete documentation submitted.
