Britain Explanation: Britain had vast colonies in both Asia and Africa, making it one of the largest colonial empires in history. In Asia, it controlled India, parts of the Middle East, and regions in Southeast Asia. In Africa, Britain had colonies such as Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, and Nigeria. This extensive empire earned Britain the title “the empire on which the sun never sets.” Other nations like Germany and Italy had smaller colonial territories, and the USA primarily focused on expansion within the Americas rather than having significant colonies in Asia or Africa.
