Which of the following takes part in the production of Bt crops?

Question

Bacteria Explanation: Bt crops are produced using the gene from the soil bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt). This bacterium produces an insecticidal protein called Bt toxin that kills specific insect pests. The gene responsible for Bt toxin production is cloned from the bacterium and inserted into crop plants like cotton to create Bt cotton. This genetically modified crop produces the same insecticidal protein as the bacteria, providing pest resistance and reducing the need for chemical pesticides.
