The Faculty of Technology at CEPT University has started accepting applications for M.Tech admissions 2026 and the last date to register is 31 March 2026. The university is offering M.Tech programs in Construction Engineering and Management, Building Energy Performance and Structural Engineering Design. CEPT University also offers pre-admission scholarships available for meritorious students
Studio-Based Learning Approach
The engineering programs at CEPT University follow a studio-based learning model, which is used in only a few engineering programs in India. In this approach, small groups of 12–15 students work closely with faculty members. This structure allows students to receive individual attention and participate in hands-on learning. The studio sessions focus on solving real-world engineering and infrastructure problems.
Along with studio work, students complete academic coursework and gain interdisciplinary exposure. The programs also include opportunities for global learning through travel studios and seasonal schools.
CEPT University M.Tech Programs
The Faculty of Technology at CEPT University offers three M.Tech programs focused on different areas of the built environment and infrastructure.
Master’s in Construction Engineering and Management (MCEM)
The MCEM program focuses on project planning, digital construction tools and project management skills required in the construction industry. The program prepares graduates to work in construction companies, consulting firms and research organisations.
Master’s in Building Energy Performance (MBEP)
The MBEP program focuses on energy-efficient building design and climate-responsive architecture. Students learn about building simulation, energy systems and environmental performance of buildings. Graduates can work in consulting firms, research organisations, professional practice and policy-related roles related to building energy performance.
Master’s in Structural Engineering Design (MSED)
The MSED program develops knowledge in structural systems used in infrastructure projects. It covers structures such as bridges, industrial buildings, tall buildings and structural retrofitting. The program prepares students for careers in structural engineering and infrastructure development.
CEPT University Scholarships and Financial Support
To support students, CEPT University provides merit-based and means-based scholarships for engineering students. These include pre-admission and post-admission financial assistance.
The university has also introduced three additional scholarships for meritorious female students, supported by CEPT alumni. Students may also participate in the “Earn While You Learn” initiative, which allows them to gain work experience while continuing their studies.
