The results of the 39th AIU National Youth Festival 2026 have been declared, with Chandigarh University students securing positions across multiple categories. Earlier this year, the university had also won the overall championship at the 39th AIU Inter-University North Zone Youth Festival (UNIFEST) 2025–26, and has now added national-level results to its record.
39th AIU National Youth Festival Highlights
The 39th AIU National Youth Festival was hosted by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai and saw participation from students representing 142 universities across 8 zones of India. After qualifying from the North Zone, Chandigarh University students competed in 28 different cultural events, including music, dance, fine arts, and literary competitions.
CU students secured a total of 8 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze medal. In addition to these individual achievements, the university also earned overall championship recognition in the literary category. The performances stood out in events like group singing, vocal solos, debates, elocution, choreography, rangoli and clay modelling.
