Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) has launched state-of-the-art Cyber Security and AI Innovation Labs at its campus in Mohali. The labs were set up in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Standards (NCSS), with CyberCops as the implementation partner and AIINFOX as the technical collaborator. These labs provide students with practical, hands-on experience in developing AI-enabled solutions.
The new labs aim to improve students’ understanding of artificial intelligence and its role in cybersecurity. Students will gain practical skills in areas such as detecting, preventing, and managing cyber threats. The labs will also help students learn important cybersecurity techniques through real-world applications.
This initiative will allow students to integrate interdisciplinary concepts like cloud computing, machine learning, cryptography, blockchain and other emerging technologies into their academic and professional learning.
Aligned with NEP 2020 guidelines and current industry needs, the initiative supports practical learning and digital awareness at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology. With expert guidance and industry-focused training, the labs will help students develop essential AI and cybersecurity skills for emerging technological fields.
