IIT Indore Admission Process 2025

Candidates who wish to be admitted to IIT Indore can follow the steps below.

 

Check Eligibility: To apply for B.Tech at IIT Indore, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates also need at least 75% marks in their 12th exams.

 

Appear for JEE Main: First, candidates must register and appear for the JEE Main exam. This is the first step for all engineering aspirants in India.

 

Qualify for JEE Advanced: If candidates clear the JEE Main cutoff, they can register for the JEE Advanced exam. Only candidates who qualify in JEE Main can take JEE Advanced.

 

Take JEE Advanced: Candidates must appear for the JEE Advanced exam. The rank in this exam will decide if candidates can get admission to IIT Indore.

 

Register for JoSAA Counselling: If candidates get a good rank in JEE Advanced, they must register for JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling. Here, candidates will fill in their choices for IIT Indore and others.

 

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment: During JoSAA counselling, candidates should select their preferred branch and IIT. Based on the JEE Advanced rank and choices, seats will be allotted.

 

Document Verification and Fee Payment: If candidates are allotted a seat at IIT Indore, they must go for document verification and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
