KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU) reported strong placement results for its 2025 graduating batch. Despite a challenging global job market, the university achieved an overall placement rate of around 92.5 per cent.
During the 2025 placement season, over 757 companies visited the KIIT campus. About 5,000 students were eligible, and around 4,621 job offers were made across various schools and courses.

KIIT School of Technology Leads Placements
The KIIT School of Technology (KSOT) recorded the highest activity. 451 companies made more than 3,800 job offers. The average salary was INR 8.5 LPA. 739 students received multiple offers. Over 1,500 offers were classified as “Dream Offers,” and 59 companies offered INR 10 LPA or more.
The highest package of INR 51 LPA was offered by Microsoft. Mass recruiters like TCS (530 offers) and Wipro (342 offers) hired large numbers of students. The university also provided 1,209 paid internships to give students early industry exposure.
NVIDIA Among Top High-Paying Recruiters
NVIDIA offered a package of INR 36.28 LPA, making it one of the top-paying recruiters. Other companies offering more than INR 30 LPA included Human Resocia, Hike, and PayPal.
Placements Across Other Schools
- KIIT School of Management (KSOM): 161 companies recruited 401 MBA students. The highest package was INR 20 LPA, and the average was INR 7.25 LPA.
- KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM): Achieved 100 per cent placement. 51 companies participated, with the highest package of INR 20.71 LPA and an average of INR 5.75 LPA.
- KIIT School of Biotechnology (KSBT): 85 per cent of students were placed. 42 companies participated, with the highest package of INR 8 LPA. Several students chose higher studies.
- KIIT School of Law (KSOL): 52 law firms and companies recruited students. The highest package was INR 9.6 LPA, and the average was INR 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Wadia Ghandy & Co., Athena Law, and Bajaj Allianz.

KIIT 2026 Placement Season Starts Strong
Placements for the 2026 batch have also started well. The university has achieved around 70 per cent placement so far.
The KIIT School of Technology has made over 3,000 offers through more than 175 companies. This includes over 1,200 “Dream Offers” of INR 10 LPA or more from 44 companies. Major recruiters like Infosys and Accenture are hiring on a large scale. Other schools of Management, Rural Management, Biotechnology, and Law have reported good early results.
Dr Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT Bhubaneswar and KISS, said the placement results show that the university focuses on preparing students for industry-relevant careers.
