Vivekananda Global University concluded a two-day media fest titled “Media Verse” on 28 January 2026. The fest was held on 27 and 28 January at the university campus. It provided students with a platform to participate in activities related to media, communication, and creative work.
On the final day, University Patron M. R. Bagaria delivered the keynote address. He spoke about the role of media in society and encouraged students to use media responsibly. He highlighted the importance of creative thinking and ethical journalism. He also acknowledged the efforts of the organizers, faculty, and students.
The chief guest, Khushi Bagaya, interacted with students and spoke about confidence and continuous effort. She encouraged participants to improve their skills and make use of opportunities provided through such events.
Several competitions were conducted during the fest. These included reel making, film making, fashion show, open mic, and Ad-Mad. In the reel and film making events, students presented social issues, youth views, and creative ideas. The fashion show featured student participants walking the ramp with different concepts. The open mic session included poetry, storytelling, singing, and personal experiences. In the Ad-Mad competition, teams created advertisements within a limited time to show their ideas and teamwork.
The fest aimed to give students practical exposure to media-related activities. It also helped them develop skills such as teamwork, leadership, and presentation. Along with learning, students took part in creative and engaging activities.
During the valedictory ceremony, winners of the competitions received awards from the invited guests. The program ended with a vote of thanks from the organizing committee, acknowledging the support of the university management, faculty, and students. The media fest “Media Verse” at Vivekananda Global University concluded as an event that combined learning, participation and creative experience for students.
