NEET UG 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on 5th May 2024. As the exam day approaches, the pressure, anxiety and excitement within the candidates rises as well. This excitement and anxiety often leads them to forget about the important instructions and guidelines. Here, parents and guardians play a really crucial role. Candidates can check their respective NEET UG 2024 admit card for the important instructions and guidelines. The admit card not only possess candidates personal details, exam details but also the crucial instructions and guidelines for the candidate. Candidates must follow these instructions and guidelines to avoid last minute troubles.
NEET UG 2024 Admit Card Guidelines
The NEET UG 2024 Admit card is the most important document on the NEET exam day. It is compulsory for candidates to carry the NEET UG admit card to the exam center. The admit card contains certain details such as candidates personal details, roll number, photocopy, signature, exam center details, date & timing, and 3xam day instructions and guidelines. Candidates also need to carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card. The details mentioned on the admit card will be matched with the details on the ID proof of the candidate. In case, if the details don’t match with each other, such candidates won’t be allowed to appear in the NEET UG examination. Candidates must ensure the following points regarding the NEET UG admit card -
Candidates must take out a color print of the admit card.
The photocopy on the admit card must be a recent one of the size 4” x 6”.
The admit card must contain a sign from candidates parents or guardian.
Candidates mustn’t sign on the NEET UG admit card unless the exam invigilator says to or else they will disqualify the candidate.
Students are also required to take a printout of the filled-in COVID-19 self-declaration undertaking.
NEET UG 2024 Exam Day Instructions and Guidelines
Candidates are highly recommended to read on the following NEET UG exam day instructions and guidelines. They are as follows.
Every NEET UG exam center will open at 11:30 AM. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the hall before 11:30 AM.
The candidates can entry the exam hall till 1:30 PM. Candidates won’t be allowed to enter the hall after 1:30 PM.
The candidate must carry the NEET UG 2024 admit card. The admit card must contain parents or guardians signature along with a recent postcard sized photograph. Additionally, a valid ID proof and extra passport size photograph must be carried to the examination hall on the exam day.
Candidates need to go undergo every security procedures. Also, they are advised to cooperate with security personnel politely at the exam center.
Candidates won’t be allowed to leave the examination hall before 5:20 PM.
Candidates must make sure to sign the attendance sheet twice. First at the start of the examination and second one after submitting the answer sheet to the invigilator. Any candidate who fails or forgets to sign the attendance sheet will be considered absent.
NEET 2024 Information for Parents / Guardians
Parents / Guardians need to make sure that their child is well aware of the instructions and guidelines along with the equipment’s required. Candidates might forget these instructions and guidelines but parents can make them remember before they leave for the examination center. Parents/ guardians must ensure the following guidelines to their children-
As the exam starts at 2 PM, candidates won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall after 1:30 PM. Thus, it is necessary to leave for the exam center from home earlier to avoid last minute hassles.
The candidate must follow all the given instructions and guidelines mentioned on the admit card.
The candidate must maintain discipline in the examination hall.
The candidate mustn’t do anything mischievous or take the help of any unfair means.
If the candidate finds out about another candidate using unfair methods like cheating or creating disturbances, he/she should immediately inform the invigilator.
Most importantly, the candidate must carry the admit card, valid ID proof, 2 passport sized photographs, one postcard sized color photocopy with a white background and PwD certificate (if applicable) to the exam hall.
The candidates must’ve provided the mobile number and email ID of the parents or guardians during the online application process. So that, after the result declaration, it will also be sent to them.
