The transition from academic life to the professional world is a defining moment, and SVKM’s NMIMS Shirpur Campus recently marked this milestone in grand style. Hosting its 16th Graduation Ceremony, the premier institution conferred degrees upon 331 students from its constituent schools, celebrating a year distinguished by remarkable academic breakthroughs, innovation, and holistic student development.

The Class of 2026 represents a diverse cohort of future-ready professionals equipped to navigate modern industry challenges. The graduating batch included 252 students from the Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME), 43 from the School of Pharmacy and Technology Management (SPTM), 26 from the School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SAST), and 10 from the School of Commerce, Dhule Campus.

Student Triumphs on National Platforms
NMIMS Shirpur students consistently proved their mettle on competitive national stages. Master Chirag Vijayvargiya stood out as the grand winner of HackwithInfy 2025, claiming the top spot out of more than 3 lakh participants nationwide. Additionally, the campus drone team showcased their engineering prowess by securing third place among 70 competing teams at the Boeing Aero Modelling Competition hosted at IIT Gandhinagar.
Wisdom for the Future Workforce
Veteran corporate leader Mr. Arun Nanda, former Executive Director and President of Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Pulling from five decades of industry experience, he emphasized the critical balance between ambition, purpose, and values. He reminded students that aligning Karma (duty) with Dharma (righteousness) yields unparalleled professional output. Mr. Nanda also advised graduates to remain lifelong learners in a rapidly shifting global landscape defined by AI, digital transformation, and sustainability.
Beyond Academics: Sports, Culture, and Sustainability
Presided over by Shri Rajgopal Bhandari, Mentor of NMIMS Shirpur Campus, and guided by Dr. Sunita Patil, Campus Director, the ceremony highlighted the campus's all-around growth. NMIMS Shirpur was recognized as the Best Campus for Sports among all seven NMIMS campuses and proudly took home four NMIMS University Sports Awards. Technical and cultural fests like Protsahan26, Ambiora26, and Vistaar26 offered vibrant platforms for extracurricular engagement, complemented by new certification programs in well-being and fitness.
As the ceremony drew to a close, the graduating cohort took a solemn Sustainability Oath. Pledging to uphold social responsibility and sustainable practices, the Class of 2026 steps forward to make a meaningful impact, reflecting the visionary leadership of Hon. Shri Amrishbhai Patel, President of SVKM and Chancellor of SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed-to-be University.
