Parul University Vadodara Hosts TechExpo 2026 Showcasing Student Innovation and Technical Excellence

Parul University Vadodara hosted TechExpo 2026, a major technical exhibition focused on innovation, engineering, and applied technology. The event provided a platform for students to present their ideas, working models, and technology-based projects. More than 50 industry representatives attended and interacted with students and faculty members.

 

The exhibition included around 250 project teams and over 1000 students from different universities across India. The projects covered multiple technical fields and showed practical applications of classroom learning. The main aim of TechExpo 2026 was to promote innovation, research, and technical skills. Students used the platform to present solutions to real-world problems.

The two-day event included live project demonstrations, project evaluations, expert interaction sessions, and industrial visits. Students also took part in skill development activities. The programme concluded with a cultural night and a valedictory function at the Medical Auditorium, where participants from different disciplines interacted and shared their work. Prize money worth INR 2 lakh was awarded to selected teams. This encouraged participants to improve their project quality and performance. The event also helped students understand industry expectations and the practical implementation of technology.

More than 30 industry leaders and professionals were present at the event. The Chief Guest was Mr. Guruswamy Krishnamoorthy, Chief Executive Officer, BPL Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The Guest of Honour was Mr. Kamal Stephen, Director, Talent Discovery (Student Team for APAC), SAP Labs. The Distinguished Guest was Mr. Manogaran N, Head, Strategic Service Business & Skill Development, BPL Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

 

Several student projects were displayed during the expo. These included the robotic assembly controller V.E.N.O.M., the multi-mission military robot Rakshak-AI, the industrial safety and inspection robot Wall-E, the companion robot CAKE, and the maze-solving robot DOT. Other teams included Frost Farm Innovators, SenseTech Crew, Tech Titans, Team Stark, and AUTONOMOUS. Industry experts reviewed these projects and shared feedback with students. Speaking at the event, Dr. Devanshu Patel, President, Parul University Vadodara, said that the theme of TechExpo 2026 is part of the university’s effort to promote innovation, research, and market-relevant skills.

 

TechExpo 2026 focused on student creativity, technical learning, and collaborative project work. The event showed Parul University’s efforts to connect academic learning with practical and industry applications.
