Candidates will get admission based on their minimum percentile secured in the SNAP 2024 exam. It is crucial for candidates to understand the difference between SNAP score & SNAP percentile which plays an important part in Symbiosis International University (SIU) Admission 2025. In SNAP 2024 result, the marks are awarded out of 60 which is then scaled down to 50 for curating the merit list. The SNAP 2024 result was announced on January 08, 2025 online at snaptest.org.

The SNAP 2024 score is the total marks scored by the candidates. The raw score is used for determining the SNAP percentile 2024. Later on, the SNAP 2024 percentile cutoff is considered for shortlisting candidates for further admission rounds such as Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

SNAP 2024 Marking Scheme

Before understanding the meaning of SNAP score & percentile, candidates must know the marking scheme of SNAP 2024 exam. The marking scheme is used for calculating a candidates’ overall score in the SNAP exam. The marking scheme of SNAP 2024 is as follows -

What is SNAP Score 2024?

SNAP Score 2024 is the total marks (sum of correct & incorrect responses marked) scored by the candidate in the SNAP test. The SNAP score is calculated in accordance with the SNAP marking scheme 2024 i.e. awarding +1 mark for each correct response & deducting -0.25 for each incorrect response. Steps to Calculate SNAP Score 2024

  • With the application of the SNAP marking scheme, the SNAP score is calculated.
  • For every correct response, +1 mark is added.
  • For every incorrect response, -0.25 mark is subtracted.
  • For every unanswered question, 0 marks are given.
  • Therefore, if a candidate answers 45 questions out if 60, and gets 31 correct & 14 incorrect, then, his total SNAP score 2024 will be as follows - (31 x 1) - (0.25 x 14) =27.5

What is SNAP Percentile 2024? SNAP Percentile 2024 is the measure of candidates’ performance against rest of the participating candidates in the SNAP exam. For instance, if a candidate scores 99 percentile, then this means that the candidate’s performance is better than 99 percent of total participating candidates. The SNAP cutoff marks for MBA admission will be calculated with use of SNAP percentile.

How to calculate SNAP Percentile 2024?

  • The formula for calculating SNAP 2024 percentile is as given below -

SNAP Percentile 2024 = {(Total Number of Candidates - Rank of a candidate) / Total number of candidates} x 100

  • For example, 30,000 candidates appeared for the SNAP exam 2024, and a candidate has scored 1000 rank. Then her SNAP 2024 percentile will be -

30,000 - 1000 / 30,000 x 100 =96 percentile
