The Speech Society (TSS) of the University of Engineering and Management Jaipur successfully conducted a rigorous communication and leadership development program on 26 February 2026. The program focused on advanced rhetorical techniques, impromptu speaking, structural quiz activities, and persuasive communication skills. Around 150 participants actively engaged in various activities with enthusiasm, excitement, and warmth. The sessions were designed to help students think critically, speak confidently, and present ideas clearly.

A main highlight of the program was the capstone presentation, where students delivered a 5-7 minute persuasive speech without using any scripted aids. This final activity demonstrated their ability to synthesize complex information into a structured and impactful narrative.

The initiative was coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav and Prof. (Dr.) Snehlata Dhaka (Faculty Coordinators), along with student coordinators Souvik Chowdhury, Somnath Das, Sunil Garhwal and Soumili Ghosh.

Through such programs, UEM Jaipur ensures that students are not only trained in “public speaking” but also groomed in communication excellence, leadership development, critical thinking and professional confidence. These activities prepare students to become responsible citizens and future-ready professionals.
