Admission: The teachers at the college are okay, but some things are really great. They help us with everything we need. The college has a lot of cool stuff related to the ocean like navigating and marine traffic. There are a lot of fun events happening because of these activities.
Placement: I'm in B.Sc. NS 21 batch with 340 cadets. About 150 of us already got placed, and the rest are still in the placement process. Our course is B.Sc. Nautical Science, a 3-year professional program. The top companies hiring from our college are Maersk, Ships, Goodwood, Oldentroff, and more.
Campus: The hostel we stayed in was okay. The rooms are a bit small, but the building looks nice. The toilets are clean, which is great. The Wi-Fi is not great overall, but some floors have good Wi-Fi. The food is okay, but it's better on Mondays and Fridays.

Admission: During exams, things get serious. Exams are well-organized, but some professors don't show up. They just read from the books. The good thing is, they give us the questions in advance. Some of the faculty members struggle with English, so knowing Tamil helps.
Placement: In my batch of 240 students, about 20-25 of us have already landed jobs. Companies like Maersk and V Group have hired some of us after interviews. We had to find internships on our own. They taught us about leadership, discipline, and time management, which was really useful.
Campus: The dorms don't have AC or good ventilation, and we have to share a bathroom with everyone on the floor. Some professors struggle with English and mainly speak Tamil. But the library is cool - there's AC and all the books you need for your classes. The food is pretty bad and they don't really take any suggestions for improvement.

Admission: The teachers were really good and knew their stuff. They focused a lot on the shipping industry, which is a big deal in world trade. The semester exams weren't too hard, and 50% of students pass. It's a great way to get ready for the future.
Placement: Only half of the students have jobs after finishing. The highest salary offered is Rs. 1,00,000, while the average is around Rs. 50,000. The lowest salary is Rs. 30,000. Big companies like Alliance recruitment agency and ABC consultants hire a lot of shipping students. About 80% of students can find paid internships. They offer courses in merchant navy, marine engineering, naval architecture, nautical science, BBA, MBA in shipping and logistics, and B.Sc. aviation.
Campus: The college has everything you need great teachers, clean surroundings, and all the facilities you could ask for. The food is tasty, and they really push sports. Plus, the college gives awesome support to all students. It's a great place to be!

Admission: The teachers at this college know their stuff and are pretty helpful. They're qualified in their subjects. The way they teach is okay, but it could be more engaging. The stuff we learn is useful, but it could be more up-to-date with what's happening in the real world. The exams are kinda tough, but most people pass.
Placement: Most students in my course get placed, like around 60-70%. The highest salary they offer is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. On average, it's 4 LPA. Companies hiring include shipping, logistics, and ports. About 70% of students land internships, with places like Maersk and DP World. Popular job titles are logistics coordinator, shipping executive, and supply chain analyst.
Campus: Our department has Wi-Fi, smart board classrooms, labs, and a library. The hostel is there, but the food isn't great. We also have a cafeteria. The classrooms are decent, with Wi-Fi and a good library. The labs work well. The hostel is alright, but the canteen food could be better. They have medical facilities too. There are some sports and games, but not many choices.

Admission: AMET University has really good teachers who know a lot about maritime stuff. They teach us things that companies want, so we can get jobs easily. Exams are okay, not too hard, you just need to get 50% to pass. They help us find jobs too - lots of students get placed in big companies like Maersk and Shell. I think it's a great place to study if you want to work in the maritime industry.
Placement: Don't expect full placement guarantee. You'll start getting job offers in your third year. The college sends students for internships at Flipkart with pay. Some seniors landed jobs in Dubai and up north, but not everyone gets placed.
Campus: The campus infrastructure here is really nice. I like how the whole place has Wi-Fi, even in class, the hostel, and the library. Speaking of the library, it's awesome with tons of books to choose from. The hostel is okay, nothing too fancy. They serve food three times a day at the mess, both veg and non-veg. And hey, there's a dispensary open 24/7 on campus too.

Admission: The teachers are okay. They try to use the smart board, but sometimes it's hard to follow. The classes help average students get ready for jobs. The exams are not too hard, just average.
Placement: Most students in our course get placed, which is awesome! The salary offered is pretty good, starting from Rs 45,000 to 4 lakhs per year. Maersk company seems to hire a lot of students from our college. I'm not sure about the exact number of students who got internships, but I believe it sets us up for a bright future.
Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus is a bit spotty, and our course building doesn't have good AC. The facilities are better than the classrooms and dorms. The dorms have awesome Wi-Fi and they keep them pretty clean. The college also organizes sports events.

Admission: The teachers here are really great and know their stuff. They're super helpful too. The semester exams aren't too hard if you put in the work. There are different activities like dance and speech going on in the college, which really boosts our confidence.
Placement: Studying BBA is cool because companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Messho, Shopsy, and Bigbasket hire us. It's a unique and creative course. I like learning about ports and how we ship products worldwide. It's a fun part of the course.
Campus: The classrooms are nice and clean, and the library is awesome. The hostel and food could be better, though. Medical services are great, and the department and library have top-notch facilities. Some classes even have AC, which is a nice touch. Overall, studying here is pretty good with smart boards in classrooms.

Admission: The teachers here are okay. They use a smart board, but sometimes it's hard to follow. The courses get us ready for the industry. Exams are average, but grading is tough.
Placement: Most students in our course land jobs after graduation, with salaries starting at Rs 45,000 and going up to 4 lakhs per year. Maersk is a top company that hires our grads. I'm not sure about the exact number of students who interned, but I believe it's a great opportunity for us to secure a bright future.
Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus is a bit spotty, and our course doesn't have good AC. But the facilities are better than what we have in class. The hostel has awesome Wi-Fi and they do a good job keeping it clean. Sports at the college are pretty cool too no complaints there!

Admission: The course syllabus focuses on specific topics, but it's important for us to explore what's in demand globally and set high standards to become experts. We learn about different subjects and even go on industry visits to see firsthand the current trends worldwide.
Placement: Most students here get a shot at placements, around 80% of them. Companies don't come often, but we still have hope for good placements. The best part is that we aim for high salary packages. This review is based on what me and my seniors have experienced.
Campus: The food at this college is kinda boring. They serve meals at the same time every day, and it gets old quick. The food doesn't have much flavorno spice, no salt, no satisfaction. It's okay, but don't expect too much.

Admission: The teaching here isn't up to par for me. It feels like they're just teaching for themselves, not for what we need in the industry. The exams are pretty easy, not challenging at all. Honestly, I didn't have high hopes for this college. I don't really get what they're trying to do here. Overall, it's one of the worst colleges I've come across. Such a letdown.
Placement: I'm not sure about the job opportunities here. The fees are pretty high, which worries me for my future. I don't really understand the shipping and logistics industry. And when it comes to HR management, I'm not sure why we need permission or if it's even necessary.
Campus: The college infrastructure isn't great and the facilities are the worst. The food quality is really bad, especially in the mess and canteen. They don't focus much on sports here, which is a letdown.
