The college has an active career counselling & placement cell (CC & PC) that understands the career objectives of students keeping in mind the current trends in the corporate world.
Acharya Narendra Dev College has an active career counselling and placement cell (CCPC). All the students of third year courses who are interested in placement after graduation can register by filling a form. CCPC chose students as coordinators also who got chances of coordinating placement drive events in the college.
The CCPC encourages all the third year students to register even if they want to continue studies after graduation. This is due to the fact that CCPC regularly organises career related talk and counselling sessions for free. It provides unique opportunities for the students to interact with recruitment officers from various top companies. The students get an experience to appear for the test and interview. It also helps them to get an idea about the essential qualifications and skills required for various jobs.
Every year many reputed companies for placement drives with many of the students who apply get selected. They also arrange for the internship programmes for the first and second year students. The interested students are encouraged to contact the placement officers to apply for these programmes. This also provides a platform for internships of second year students through various companies and internshala.
placement Process:-
- Candidates seeking companies contact college for recruitment.
- The placement officer communicates with the company to plan the details of the placement programme.
- The students registered in the placement cell are informed through email, whatsapp group, notice and posters.
- The interested students register for the placement drive.
- The placement drive includes a presentation, followed by an online/ written test.
- The successful candidates are then called for an interview either on the same day or later in the company.
- The college is informed about the selected candidates.
