The current notice requires the completed hostel application form along with the course fee receipt, Aadhaar Card, CUET score card, University registration form, applicable category certificate and a recent passport-size photograph.

The university's published Hostel Rules also prescribe common hostel charges and utility-related payments. However, the currently published 2026 UG hostel notice does not establish a single room-wise annual fee ranging from ₹16,000 to ₹30,000. Therefore, room-wise figures from the earlier version should not be treated as the latest University of Allahabad hostel fee structure.
