Academic: At Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, the B.Tech Chemical Engineering program has a curriculum that is really well-structured and fits industry needs perfectly. The teaching quality here is good, they make sure to balance both theory classes and practical work. Our faculty members are very qualified and keep strict academic rules. Exams are a bit tough, I'd say moderately difficult, and they have a very strict way of checking papers. Even though the course gets you ready for jobs, some students find these exams quite challenging. They don't usually say what the pass percentage is, but the university always aims for high academic standards so students become really capable.

Placement: About my B.Tech Chemical Engineering course at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, the placements are around 40%. The highest salary for our branch is about 8 LPA, and most people get between 4-5 LPA, with the lowest being 3.5 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Accenture, Ugam Solutions, Hexaware, Asian Paints, and DRDO come to hire. Not many students get internships, only about 20%, and they mostly go to smaller companies. After finishing, you can get roles like Data Analyst, Software Engineer, or Material & Polymer Technology Specialist. But if we talk about overall B.Tech at Amrita, the placement rate is much better at 88%, and the highest package offered was really good, 56.95 LPA.

Campus: At Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, the B.Tech Chemical Engineering course has really good facilities. The department labs are top-notch, especially for Heat Transfer, Chemical Reaction Engineering, and Mass Transfer. We get super-fast Wi-Fi and the library has tons of books. The campus also has more than 2,000 computers with high-speed internet. Hostels are huge, fitting over 5,800 students, with four people sharing each room. The mess serves clean vegetarian food, and there are night cafeterias too. They also push for a balanced life with sports, yoga, and other activities. Plus, we get medical and mentoring support whenever needed.

Admission: My overall experience with Amrita admissions was smooth. Online registration and merit list announcements were timely, counselling was informative, and document verification was quick with cooperative staff.

Academic: From my experience here, the teachers are really friendly and they care a lot about us. We even have our HODs for each branch who guide us all the time. They make sure to help without wasting anyone's time. Also, our lab teachers are just the best at teaching practical things.

Placement: Good news about placements here is that almost 89% of students actually get placed. The highest salary package reached 59 LPA, specifically for ECE, while the lowest package was 7 LPA. For internships, it's pretty cool that 50% of us got a chance to work at Amazon. And for our course, Bosch is a top company that recruits many students.

Campus: The college infrastructure is really top-class. We have super good labs where you can work live, and the classrooms are also very nice. Our hostels are seriously the best, even better than some IITs and NITs, with 24x7 Wi-Fi and electricity always available. When it comes to food, there are three canteens, including the main one and the MBA canteen. They serve all kinds of food, both veg and non-veg, so there's always something different to eat.

Admission: Appearing for AEEE and moving through counselling felt systematic. Appointments for document verification were easy to manage, staff were cooperative, and final registration was hassle-free.

Academic: The college course is divided into 8 semesters. For each one, we have class assessments, assignments, and mid-semester exams, and these all add up to our final results. The faculty and staff here are really friendly and helpful, and I think a lot of them are IIT passouts. But yeah, exams come super fast, and we often don't get enough time to cover all the portions properly.

Placement: At Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, they really focus on getting students good placements and internships. More than 120 companies, some even from other countries, have partnered with our college for this. The college makes sure about 95% of students get placed every year. Someone even got a super high salary package of 34 lakh rupees, though the lowest one was 32 thousand rupees.

Campus: College's infrastructure is really good, and the labs are excellent and always well-maintained. Classrooms are also very neat and kept well. The libraries here are also decent. For first-year students, the hostels are great since they are new. Each hostel room fits 4 students, and you get a bed, a study table with chair, a lamp, cupboards, and an almirah. All hostels have WiFi too, but sometimes it blocks some websites and apps.

Admission: Once selected, the next steps were easy to follow. Counselling sessions clarified everything, document verification took some time but staff support helped, and orientation covered all important points clearly.

Academic: Here at our college, the teachers are super qualified and they know a lot. The syllabus is also very well planned with the teaching, so it is easy for them to help us with any doubts we have. One teacher handles about 65 students. What is cool is, in the second year itself, they ask us if we are planning for higher studies abroad or if we want a job, so they can make proper arrangements for everyone. Oh, and the semester exams are pretty hard, but that is how they make sure the grading is proper and fair.

Placement: Placements are a bit low this year, mostly because of the recession going on. I think around 300 companies came to hire people. For my department, the main recruiting companies are big names like Cognizant, Amazon, and TCS.

Campus: Our college has pretty good hostel facilities, especially since us first-year students got a brand new one. They are also making more hostels for both boys and girls who will join later. Inside, each room gets a wardrobe, bed, light, fan, and a chair. We also get hot water from 6 AM to 8:30 AM daily. The overall infrastructure here is okay. Talking about food, the mess quality is fine, but the taste is not that great. Medical facilities are there if needed. Plus, they offer a lot of sports like cricket, swimming, and football.

Academic: Our teachers are really good, all of them have Ph.D.s. They are also super friendly, patient, and understanding with us. The course curriculum is designed pretty similar to what you find in IITs, which is great. Plus, they give a lot of importance to our culture by including subjects like Indian heritage and yoga. Semester exam papers are usually not too easy, they range from moderate to difficult. To make sure we are ready for jobs, CIR courses get a lot of focus right from the second year.

Placement: Placements here are quite good. The highest salary package someone got was 56.95 LPA, and on average, most students get around 9.2 LPA. Many big companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Amazon, and IBM come to recruit students. Also, in the 3rd year, we get lots of chances for internships, both from college and outside. Amazon is one of the main companies offering these internships.

Campus: The campus here is really beautiful. There are many labs for different subjects, and they are always kept in good condition. For medical emergencies, an Amrita clinic is available right on campus. You can also find three canteens in the main academic blocks, and their food is quite delicious. Plus, Amrita Wi-Fi covers all labs, academic blocks, and even the hostels.

Admission: Joining Amrita School of Engineering turned out to be a positive experience. Counselling and document verification were smooth, staff were responsive to doubts, registration was quick, and orientation shared useful details.

Academic: Our teachers are really knowledgeable and good at their subjects. Passing semester exams is quite easy if your internal marks are decent, though how tough the paper is depends on the professor teaching that subject. Even if the placement cell wanted changes to the syllabus, I don't think it fully makes us ready for the industry.

Placement: For placements here, the highest package was 45 LPA. There was one offer even higher, 50 LPA from Microsoft, but it's not counted as our official highest since they didn't come specifically for hiring through the college. Almost 70% of students who applied for placements managed to get a job. The lowest package was 2.5 LPA, and the average package ended up being around 6 LPA. We didn't really have any top recruiters who took many students; usually, each company hired only one person from our course. The common job roles offered were like Analyst and SDE.

Campus: My college has pretty good Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are decent too. All the labs are working well, which is helpful. The only thing is, sometimes the stuff they teach feels a bit old. About the mess, the food isn't really up to mark, and you can only get vegetarian food on campus. In the hostel, the bathing water is hard, and they use recycled water for the plants and all. Good thing is, there's always a doctor if we need one, and the sports and games facilities are quite good.

Admission: After AEEE results, the admission process felt well-structured. Online counselling was explained clearly, document verification was smooth, and timely updates reduced stress until orientation.

Academic: The course we are doing at Amrita is quite tough. But I feel the curriculum is good, especially for semiconductor studies, which has a great future ahead. Most of our teachers are helpful, smart, and know their subjects well, so the teaching quality is really good. Though, sometimes a few teachers explain things in a way that students find hard to understand.

Placement: Since I'm still studying, I don't really know much about internships yet. Also, I don't have the exact numbers for how many students from our course get placed here. Generally, we get medium-range placements. The highest salary someone got was 16 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. The average package for students is around 6 LPA. I am also not sure about the top companies that visit our campus for hiring.

Campus: The labs and classrooms in our college are really good. I also really like the library; it's such a nice place to study quietly. About the Wi-Fi, it's very good on campus, but they block some sites. This is so students don't get distracted from their studies. We usually end up using a VPN to check out some important websites.

Admission: Overall, admission at Amrita felt efficient and organised. The application steps were simple, counselling sessions were managed well, and document verification plus registration moved smoothly with helpful staff support.

Academic: What I like most is my course, it's really good and I learned many skills there, which I developed myself. Our teachers are generally good and know their subjects very well. Exams can be a little tough to write for students. The college's pass percentage is about 45%, but it changes with each subject. If you get an arrear, you have to pay 700 Rs for any UG course.

Placement: Placements here are really good, you know. Almost 95% of students get placed every year, which is a big deal for our college. Big companies like Amazon, TCS, and Zoho actually come to our campus to hire us, and getting them to visit is a huge achievement.

Campus: Our college hostel really feels like a home away from home. The college makes sure it's a secure, comfortable, and healthy place for all students to live. The rooms here are super good for both studying and just staying. And guess what, the mess food is so good every week! They always cook hygienic food too, which is great.

Admission: Applying here didn�t feel complicated. The form was easy, counselling after the exam was explained well, queries were answered quickly, and document submission was hassle-free.

Academic: From my experience here, the teachers are really top-notch, all of them come from good places like NIT and IIT. The course syllabus is made by our dean, Mr. K. P. Soman, who is actually one of the world's top 2% AI scientists. What's different here is we don't have regular mid-semester or end-semester exams. Instead, we have daily assessments and then a big project at the end of the semester. This system really helps us get proper hands-on experience by doing projects and even getting to publish research papers, which is great for our future.

Placement: In my experience here, around 90% of students in our AI department actually get placed, which is pretty good. The salary packages are also nice, with the highest going up to 48 LPA and the lowest being 4.8 LPA. On average, most students get a package between 8.5-10 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Intel come to our college for hiring. Many students, about 75% or even more, manage to get internships, and those who don't either work on their own projects or plan for higher studies. After our course, people usually get roles like data scientist, machine learning engineer, AI engineer, or data analyst.

Campus: In my department, the infrastructure is just the best. We have full Wi-Fi in our classes with a big screen for lectures, and there are 72 computers for daily work. The college library is seriously the best I have visited. It has all kinds of books, and we also get e-book access. My first-year hostel, Kashyapa Bhavanam, is brand new and really good. The food quality in the hostel is more than average, and the canteen also has some nice food options. Also, sports are given the same importance as studies here in college.

Campus: It comes to facilities, our college has separate hostels for both girls and boys. We have 9 hostels just for boys and 4 for girls, and together they can accommodate over 4000 students. Our computer labs are also very good, with centralized air-conditioning. Plus, the campus uses solar heaters and has water purifiers for everyone.
