Admission: The college isn't just known for its success in art events and modeling shows, but also for how they help students grow in their academics and interests. The teachers are great they know their stuff and they really care about us. Sometimes they can be a bit strict, though.
Placement: The college has a placement cell that helps students get jobs based on their grades and character. In my last year, big companies like Adidas, Nike, Puma, Zara, Apple, and BlackBerry came for placements. The highest salary offered was 5.4 LPA.
Campus: The college is really cool for art stuff. They have this awesome art lawn right in front of the study area. The whole campus has Wi-Fi, which is sweet. There are two computer labs with like 45-50 computers each. The academic building has seven air-conditioned classrooms, two stitching labs, a reception room, two visual merchandising rooms, and this cool lab for making stuff and analyzing it. And outside, there are two football fields, a basketball court, and three badminton courts. It's a pretty nice place for sure!

Admission: The teachers here are great. We have a mentor for every small group of students. They help us with advice and support whenever we need it. I really like the B.Sc. Fashion Design course because we learn about all the latest trends.
Placement: In the Fashion Designing course, most students get placed, around 90-95%. The highest salary is about 7-8 Lakhs per year, while the lowest is around 3 Lakhs. Companies like H&M, Landmark, and Gucci come to our campus for recruitment. Around 60-80% of students get internships in companies like Rare Rabbit, Raymond, and Arvind. The top roles offered are Visual Merchandiser, Manager Trainee, and Designer.
Campus: The college has awesome infrastructure with lots of greenery and space to hang out with friends. The mess and hostels are in great shape, making it feel like a big family where we all bond together really well.

Admission: The teachers at AIFD are really great. They are super helpful and friendly. The course lasts for 3 years with 6 semesters. Each semester has 2 test exams and a final exam. North Bangalore University is in charge of the exams. They have theory and practical exams with an external investigator present.
Placement: I'm Priya and I study at AIFD in Bangalore, Karnataka. I'm in the batch of 2023 to 2026. AIFD guarantees 100% placements after you finish your course. Big companies like Zara, Raymond, Rare Rabbit, and Best Seller come for placements. The average salary is over 6 Lacs. You can get jobs like virtual merchandising, stylist, or retail. The college has great facilities and teachers who are always there to help you. It's a friendly environment. AIFD has free Wi-Fi in both college and hostel. There are 40 computers, 2 stitching labs, a photography studio, and more.
Campus: The classrooms at AIFD have AC and there's free Wi-Fi. The library is cool it's linked with the British council. The food is way better than other hostels in India. Since it's an army college, the rules are super strict. They also set up tournaments and sports events.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and understand what they're teaching. Some could make their teaching style better, though. The college is linked to Bangalore North University, so the syllabus matches up with what we need. It's good, but they could give us more time for internships. The semester exams aren't too tough, they're pretty easy to pass.
Placement: AIFD has awesome placement opportunities for final year students. They have a 100% placement record! The salary is pretty good. AIFD is ranked 13th in India for placements. Companies like Puma, Nike, Homecentre, Arvind, H&M, and Uniqlo hire from here. Every year, they come to campus to hire students. Everyone gets internships and placed. Most placements are in Visual Merchandising and Retail because it's in high demand.
Campus: The campus isn't as big as other colleges, so the college buildings are smaller too. But they still have labs, a library, and visual merchandising labs. The hostel is great, with really clean washrooms and places to dry clothes. The food can be hit or miss, but it's usually okay.

Admission: The faculty at this college is a mixed bag. Some really care about you, but others seem to expect you to figure everything out on your own. I noticed that a few teachers hold grudges and can be tough on students, which can mess up your future. Overall, the courses are not too hard, and passing the semesters is doable. Just make sure to focus on the practical stuff and try to get along with the faculty.
Placement: Only 10% of us got placed, even though when we applied they promised 100% placement. Our seniors all found jobs, but now there aren't many opportunities for design jobs. Retail and FC roles are not popular anymore. The internship was good though.
Campus: The labs are supposed to have good equipment, but there are problems with the software and the computers are too old for new updates. The food in the boys' hostel isn't very clean. When there are issues, they send you to another college for help. But when there are fines for hostel problems, they don't talk to the same college's management. This only happens in the boys' hostel.
