ACJ offers postgraduate diploma courses with course fees ranging from INR 460,200 to INR 708,000. The college has also set a minimum eligibility standard for different courses in order to take admission at Asian College of Journalism courses.

Students who successfully complete the program will earn a prestigious Postgraduate Diploma from the Asian College of Journalism at the end of the academic year. Assessment is continuous, with no final exam. Each course carries a designated number of credits, typically five, and students receive a grade for each course completed.

ACJ Additional Fees & Charges
Students at the Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) may need to pay additional fees for housing, meals, and a security deposit in addition to their tuition.
- Food: The annual cost for food is INR 115,050, inclusive of GST.
- Caution Deposit: Students are required to pay a caution deposit of INR 10,000, which is refundable at the end of the year after deducting any outstanding dues.
- Accommodation: On-Campus Accommodation charges for July 2024 April 2025: Rs.1,29,800/- Plus GST. The stay at the Annexe also goes for 135,700 INR between these same dates.
- Application fee: The application fee for the ACJ entrance exam costs INR 2,360 inclusive of GST.

Asian College of Journalism Scholarships
Asian College of Journalism provides many scholarship opportunities. Each of them are described below:
- Scholarship Merit-cum: The college offers scholarships on the basis of merit the qualified candidates.
- SC/ST Scholarship: In order to avail this scholarship the candidate has to produce an income certificate along with a caste certificate.
- Manjeet Singh Scholarships through SAF: The SAF-Madanjeet Singh Scholarship is available for students from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka pursuing a one-year postgraduate program at the Asian College of Journalism. This scholarship covers tuition fees, economy airfare from the scholar's residence within SAARC to Chennai and back, shared accommodation costs for the duration of the course in Chennai, food expenses for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the ACJ canteen, as well as a small allowance for pocket expenses. Applicants must have completed a graduate degree and possess proficiency in English.
- Scholarship for SAF: Students from the eight SAARC nations-Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives-are eligible to apply for scholarships from the South Asia Foundation (SAF) to study at the ACJ. The Admission Committee will make the decision about Indian SAF scholarships.
