Admission: My admission journey at Assam University was handled well. Online registration was simple, and updates about the merit list and counselling arrived on time. Document verification staff were helpful, and the whole process till orientation felt clear and efficient.
Academic: Talking about our college, the teachers here are good, like, they know everything about their subjects and teach us well. Our course syllabus strictly follows the guidelines from Pharmacy Council of India and also UGC rules. And for exams, they conduct them exactly as per the notifications given by the university's exam controller.
Placement: In my experience here, internships are a big thing. All the students, like 100% of us, got internships in our 7th semester, working in industrial and hospital places. For placements, last year more than 25% of students got jobs with companies like Alkem and Heteropharma, these are basically the top companies that hire from here. About the money, production jobs give around Rs. 18,000 every month, and if you go into marketing, it's about Rs. 30,000 per month. The highest position someone got was a senior executive manager after finishing this course.
Campus: The infrastructure for B.Pharm students here isn't that great, to be honest. But the new M.Pharm building is advanced and modern. We have good hostels on campus, with five for boys and six for girls. Plus, you can find canteens in almost every department, and mess services are available in all hostels.

Admission: From counselling to joining, Assam University managed things efficiently. Updates were timely, staff were approachable, and orientation gave a clear idea of what to expect next.
Academic: The teachers here are helpful and they are always ready to guide you if you need help with anything. Many of them are super qualified, like they studied at big universities such as BHU and NLU. About the exams, they are not too difficult because all the questions come straight from what the teachers taught us and the syllabus. You just need to get 40% marks to pass every exam.
Placement: In my experience as a law student, I can say that placements have gone up. Earlier, it was tough to get any jobs for our law course, but now the university has developed well, and our placement cell has also become very good. Because of this, almost all students are getting placed. Big law firms now come here to hire us, but ultimately, it all depends on how you perform in your interview to land a job.
Campus: In our college, the infrastructure is pretty good. Each classroom can fit up to 50 to 60 students easily. We get 24/7 Wi-Fi all over the campus, and the library also has Wi-Fi, staying open till 8 PM. Hostel facilities are there for students, and they come with mess food. But if someone doesn't like the mess food, no worries, they can opt out and cook their own food or pick from the many canteens available on campus.

Admission: The overall admission process at Assam University felt streamlined. From filling the form to document verification, everything was clearly explained. Staff guided us well during registration, and there were no unnecessary delays.
Academic: In my experience, the teachers at our college are good and super qualified. All of them have Ph.D. degrees, so they know a lot about their subjects. They are very friendly and always ready to help us students. They take all classes on time and give us regular notes, which is great. Because of this, we don't even need to go for extra tuition to pass our degree courses. Also, they've made a group where we can ask any doubts, and they make sure to clear everything up in the very next class.
Placement: Our Gurucharan College has good placements every year. Around 10 to 20 students get placed in different companies. Last year, big companies like Mahindra and Tata came to our college for recruitment. The starting salary for students who got selected was Rs. 25,000.
Campus: In our college, the infrastructure is honestly very good, and they keep making it better day by day. You'll find all the necessary equipment easily. Our college is quite known for its facilities, which are well-maintained. We have proper labs, a big central library, and every single classroom has a super advanced digital board. Plus, the toilets are always clean, and there are common rooms for both boys and girls too.

Admission: Applying to Assam University was a fairly smooth journey. The merit list was released on time, counselling sessions were organised properly, and staff were supportive during offline document verification. Final registration was quick and easy.
Academic: In our department, the teachers are good. They are very qualified and have lots of experience from the industry. Because of this, the teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum for our course is also good. Even though semester exams are tough, they are made in a creative way. Most students pass these exams, like more than 95% of us.
Placement: In my experience here, about 30% of students from our course get placed, but most of them actually prefer going for higher studies. The highest salary package offered in our course was 10 LPA, with the lowest being 2.5 LPA, and the average package stood at 4 LPA. It's cool that IITB also recruited students from our college. Plus, a good 40% of students manage to get internships. Top job roles for us include animator and graphic designer.
Campus: For our course, the infrastructure here is good. We have AC labs and nice furniture, so the lab facilities are pretty solid. But on the other hand, the hostel infrastructure is not good at all. Also, the food quality is super bad, and there are no medical facilities available in the college. The administration also doesnt support sports and games much.

Admission: My admission experience at Assam University went well overall. Registration was simple, the merit list was timely, and document verification during counselling was efficient, though there was some waiting. Staff were helpful with queries and orientation details.
Academic: The course content here is super updated and useful, which helps us learn both theory and what companies actually want. Our teachers are good; they know so much and are always there if you need help. They make even difficult topics easy to understand using practical examples and cool interactive classes. About exams, they are not too easy, not too hard, just right, and they check if you understand things, not if you just memorized. If you prepare well, you will definitely do good, and most students pass with good marks.
Placement: For placements, around 70-80% of students from my batch got placed which is pretty good. Also, close to 40% of us managed to get internships, mostly in banks and some startups. The highest salary package offered was about 12 LPA, while the lowest was 2.5 LPA. On average, most people got between 3 to 3.5 LPA. Big companies like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Bandhan Bank, and TCS came for recruitment. Common job roles were like relationship manager, banking officer, sales executive, and analyst.
Campus: GC University Silchar has a good campus. Our classrooms are big and they have smart boards, projectors, and Wi-Fi for everyone. The library is full of textbooks, reference books, and online study stuff, plus there's a digital library too. In our department, we have modern labs for computer and science, with new equipment for practical work. The hostel rooms are decent, always clean, and have enough water supply and Wi-Fi. For food, the mess gives us hygienic and balanced meals, though they could add more variety sometimes. We also have good support for sports and other activities, with a playground, indoor games, and a gym. Basically, the whole setup here is very student-friendly and helps us a lot.

Admission: From application to final registration, the Assam University process was clear. Counselling and document verification were hassle-free, and staff guidance made the initial joining experience easy. The online portal was very useful for updates.
Academic: What I think about our college, the teachers are good. All of them have PhDs from famous institutes. They give us lectures using PPTs, which makes us ready for jobs later on. For semester exams, they are kind of moderate to tough. To clear a subject, you just need to get 50% marks, minimum.
Placement: About 20% of students in their final year get placed yearly. The top role offered in my course is Drug Inspector. Companies like Hetero Healthcare Private Ltd. and Alembic Pharmaceuticals come here to hire. The salary package for these jobs is usually between 2 to 3 LPA. Most of these placements, about 20% every year, are with pharmaceutical companies located in Northeast India.
Campus: Talking about my college, the infra is quite poor. The classrooms are mostly congested and only have writing boards, no smart boards are available for studying. It's a bit of a problem because the Wi-Fi in the computer labs doesn't even work properly. But on the brighter side, hostel Wi-Fi is available and the hygiene is pretty good there. They clean the bathrooms and corridors regularly. Mess food is just average, nothing too great or bad. Also, there's a health center on campus for basic treatments, and a big field for cricket and football which is a plus point.

Admission: Applying here was easier than expected. The online application portal worked well, the merit list was published on time, and email updates kept everything clear. Counselling and document verification were well-managed by helpful staff.
Academic: For the first year, I honestly don't think many teachers are very good. Their teaching style is not up to the mark mostly, though of course, there are some good ones. We have technology like smartboards and animation available, but teachers don't use them properly. They should seriously get some training on how to use these tools right. There are always exceptions who use them well, but mostly it's a miss.
Placement: From what I've seen, placements are not that great here. For ECE, less than five percent of students get placed, and for BSc courses, I think there are hardly any placements at all. The average salary package is around four LPA, but it's not common for ECE and CSC students to get this. Mostly, companies like Wipro come for recruitment. Since I am just in my second year, I haven't got any internship yet.
Campus: Getting a hostel room for new students in our college is a bit tough. This is because there aren't enough rooms available for everyone. Usually, hostel rooms are given first to students who live far away from the college. Each room in the hostel can fit three students easily. Coming to other facilities, our canteen isn't very modern at all. And for medical needs, as far as I know, there is only one facility for students.

Admission: Going through counselling at Assam University felt organised. Each round was handled properly, and the document verification team guided us patiently. Registration and online fee payment were simple, with clear instructions.
Academic: Our computer science and engineering department has good teachers. They are very supportive and we also have many good guest faculty members. For example, our C programming language teacher is excellent, and the digital electronics teacher is also very good. The course curriculum is quite vast.
Placement: Assam University has many connections with different companies. Because of this, it feels like placements should be good. But for Computer Science and Engineering students, the placements are just average, not great. However, students from the agriculture department get very good placements from here.
Campus: Overall, the facilities at Assam University Silchar are good. The hostels here are nice, but it's quite hard to get a spot there. When it comes to sports, the football ground is super good, and most of the other game grounds are also fine. But the cricket ground isn't that great, and the basketball court is not so good either.

Admission: Completing the admission formalities felt simple. Help desk staff were available to answer queries, and the entire process was well-supported, making the transition comfortable.
Academic: Honestly, the teachers here are mostly very bad. They treat students so rudely, which is not cool. Some teachers even struggle with English, so it becomes very tough to understand what they are trying to explain in class. Classes are not happening on time, many times they get cancelled, making the whole experience quite poor. Only a handful of teachers are actually good.
Placement: Honestly, my time at this college has been bad. There are no placements here, not even one. And how can there be placements when classes themselves are not regular? Plus, some teachers have a lot of attitude, especially the one sitting at the counter; she's super rude if you ask anything.
Campus: In my experience here, the teachers are not good and they dont seem to know much. Also, the students here arent that serious about their studies. Talking about the college, the infrastructure is just okay, nothing fancy. Our campus is quite small, only two buildings are there. While the classrooms are big enough, there's no proper auditorium, and the labs are super small. Overall, it kind of feels like a waste of time and money.

Admission: The registration phase after verification was smooth. Fee payment was easy, instructions were clear, and provisional registration was completed quickly. The overall system felt transparent.
Academic: Honestly, my experience here has not been great, especially with the faculty. The teachers are not supportive at all, and I'm dissatisfied with them. Many of them don't seem qualified for their job; it feels like they just got in through state quota. On top of that, the management staff is also very bad. They are super lazy and getting any simple document work done takes ages, like days or even months.
Placement: If you are planning to join Assam University for engineering, you should not expect much placement. I am new here, so I haven't seen it myself, but seniors told me the placement situation is not good at all. For engineering, they said only 2-3 students got placed, and a lot of students did not get jobs. Other departments at the university actually have decent placements, but the engineering department has very bad placements.
Campus: In my college, the facilities are quite good. We have a big library and our labs are well-equipped. Hostel facilities are good too, but the Wi-Fi is a bit slow. Getting a hostel is tough because there are many departments but very few seats. Our sports facilities are also good, and a new building for basketball and badminton is coming up. I am a 2nd-year student here.
