B.A. (Hons.) in Economics

Admission: The teachers in Economics Hons are super helpful. The course is tough, but they really try hard to teach us well. If you're not good at Math, this course might be too hard for you. It's full of Math and analysis stuff. But if you work hard, you can get ready for the industry. The exams are not too easy, but doable. You need to get at least 70 out of 160 to pass, both in practical and theory exams.
Placement: I'm in B.A. Hons Economics, and the college placements are pretty good. If you have a CGPA of 7 or higher, you can get on-campus placements. The placement cell here is really active. With skills in data analytics, econometrics, and a good CGPA, you can expect a max package of 18 LPA as a fresher. Companies like EY, Deloitte, Wipro, KPMG, Byju's, and Tech Mahindra come for recruitment. Around 45% of students get internships and good placements. After graduation, you can get roles in business analytics and research analytics.
Campus: The college doesn't have a hostel, but the buildings are old but okay. The food in the canteen is good and cheap. Wi-Fi is not super fast, but the labs and library are nice with AC. They have lots of stuff to do and sports equipment you can borrow from the faculty.

Admission: The teachers here are really great. They are always there to help us out and they know their stuff. They teach us everything we need to know, not just what's in the textbook. The course is good and prepares us well for the industry. Just remember to work on your personal skills too. The exams in each semester are not too tough. They are based on the books the teachers recommend.
Placement: Honestly, at this college, getting a job after graduation is more about what you learn than the college's reputation. They offer tons of internships that you can do from home or in the office, paid or unpaid. The Big 4 companies hire a lot of students for roles like consultant or tax analyst. You'll see companies like EY, PwC, Deloitte, and KPMG looking for new hires.
Campus: The classrooms don't have AC, but the library does. Wi-Fi is everywhere on campus, but it's not always reliable. No hostel here which is a downside. Food in the canteen is okay and cheap, around 30-40 rupees. Lots of sports stuff to do here.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful and know their stuff. They explain things well and make sure you understand. The courses are practical and prepare you for the job market. The exams are challenging but fair.
Placement: In my course, around 80% of students land a job after graduating. The highest salary package was 9 LPA in 2023 and 11 LPA in 2024. The lowest package was 2 LPA. Companies like Wipro and KPMG were the top recruiters. Most students landed IT roles.
Campus: The facilities in my department are great. Wi-Fi works all over the college. We have 4 computer labs with 40-60 systems each. Classrooms have projectors. There's a library and a digital library for browsing and work. The food in the canteen is really good and clean. Our college has sports like cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball. There are also different groups for these activities.

Admission: The teachers really know their stuff and are super helpful. The exams are just the right amount of challenging not too easy, not too hard. The course material is spot on and gets you ready for the real world. Most students pass with around 85-90%.
Placement: The best companies that hire from our college are Axis, ICICI, and some others. They give packages from 5 LPA to 28 LPA. Around 44% to 50% of students get placed. In the B.Com (Hons) program, they offer jobs like manager, accountant, financial analyst, and auditor.
Campus: I really like the college's setup. The buildings are solid, and the canteens and classrooms are clean. The campus has lots of greenery, which is nice. The labs are big, and the classrooms aren't too packed. There are so many trees and plants around, it makes the whole place feel lively.

Admission: The faculty at this college is really helpful. They know their stuff and teach well. But for exams, you gotta do some self-study too. Can't rely just on the teachers. The semester exams aren't super tough. If you study a bit, they're pretty easy.
Placement: A bunch of students from my course last year got jobs in companies like Deloitte and ICICI Bank. A good number of students, around 70%, also scored internships with companies like Wipro. The college is pretty good with placements and internships overall.
Campus: The campus has good infrastructure and the courses are okay. We have Wi-Fi on campus and the classrooms are nice. The library has lots of books to use. The environment here is good for studying. The canteen has decent food. Overall, the campus is pretty good.

Admission: I found some teachers really helpful, but others were a bit rude. The curriculum isn't super modern, but you can still land some decent job opportunities. The courses aren't outdated, so getting a job should be possible. Exams aren't too hard in my opinion, and you can pass by studying the night before.
Placement: Placements here aren't the best, you might not get a job right after graduation. But if you do a post-grad, then there's a chance to land a job with a salary of around 4-5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Lakme, L'Oreal Paris usually come for placements. In my batch of 40 students, about 4 students from my course get placed. We mostly end up working in cosmetics, chemical tech, and other related industries.
Campus: The Wi-Fi at college works pretty well most of the time. You gotta find your own place to stay though, 'cause there's no hostel. They've got a cool indoor badminton court and a basketball court too. The NCC here is awesome, and there's tons of sports stuff to do.

Admission: The teachers at ARSD College really know their stuff and are easy to talk to. They explain things well and make sure we understand the concepts, not just memorize. The course content is up-to-date and matches what companies are looking for. Exams are balanced, with a mix of different kinds of tests that help us learn better.
Placement: I liked how ARSD College helps students get jobs with big companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Teach for India. The placement cell is great at organizing workshops, internships, and getting the industry involved. They also have regular sessions to help us prepare for placements.
Campus: I really like ARSD College because they have great courses and teachers who know their stuff. The campus is nice and has a good library and labs. The canteen has yummy and cheap food, which is where everyone hangs out. It's a good mix of studying and chilling. The campus is pretty big, around 14 acres.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really help us out, and I think that's why our college got ranked 5th in NIRF. The commerce courses are super popular too. If you're into commerce, definitely consider coming here.
Placement: A lot of students who go for placements end up in sales jobs, but some choose different fields. The highest salary offered is 10 LPA, while the average is around 5-6 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Not everyone goes for placements, though.
Campus: The college has really stepped up its infrastructure game in the past few years, especially when you compare it to other South campus DU colleges. The facilities here are top-notch, but unfortunately, we don't have any hostels or an auditorium yet. Overall, everything is pretty good, except for the ongoing debate about getting an auditorium.

Admission: The teachers here are so good, they really know their stuff. They're always there to help me out when I have questions. Plus, they use real-life examples which makes learning easier. The course is spot on for getting ready for work in the industry. But I think we should have internships too, not everyone gets one though. The exams are pretty easy, most people pass with flying colors.
Placement: I'm a student in this course, and honestly, the placement situation isn't great. Less than 25% of students get placed. Most opportunities are for B.Com (Hons) students. The highest salary is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, TATA, and Mahindra hire students. Every year, our college holds an internship fair to help students find internships. About 50% of students in my course get internships. Popular roles after graduation are data analyst, front-end developer, and web developer.
Campus: The college I go to has awesome infrastructure. We have good Wi-Fi, a nice library, and well-kept classrooms. Even though we don't have hostels, everything else is top-notch. The canteen food is great and not too expensive. They serve all kinds of food from South Indian to North Indian dishes. Lately, they even added a juice corner. Our sports facilities are cool too. We play basketball, cricket, table tennis, and badminton. It's a fun place to be!

Admission: I'm a student in Electronics Honours. Overall, my faculty is pretty good. However, there are a couple of teachers who aren't very helpful. The curriculum feels outdated because we're still studying microprocessors 8085 and 8086, which have been around since 2000. Exams are challenging, and many students in the Science stream end up with backlogs.
Placement: The college doesn't have many job opportunities for undergrad students, no matter what course you're in. Some big companies like Deloitte and Adobe do offer internships, but they don't pay much or at all. After post-graduation, the placements are okay, but they usually pay around 5-6 LPA.
Campus: The classrooms, corridors, and garden are nice. The labs need new laptops and gadgets, but the Chemistry lab is cool. The library is fully air-conditioned, but there aren't enough books. It gets busy during exams. The Wi-Fi is good, and the classes are enjoyable.
