Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (BJB) Autonomous College is one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha state of India. The college was established in 1957 and was later named after the great freedom fighter Odisha Buxi Jagabandhu, who led the Paika Bidroha in the year 1817 against the British. The BJB College was set up to bring an educational revolution for the students and youth so that they might be able to contribute a lot to the nation. It has expanded to become a favoured college over the decades, admitting students not only from across Odisha but also from neighbouring states.
The college provides bachelor's and master's degrees in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. It has become decentralized so as to obtain independence for the expansion of curriculum and formation of examinations. It is a part of Utkal University and has got the NAAC approval as well.
