Admission: The mining department professors are awesome and really know their stuff. We have a class WhatsApp group where we can all stay connected. They're always there to help us, even outside of class. The faculty, HODs, principal, and chairman are all super helpful whenever we need anything.
Placement: The college offers lots of placement opportunities. The placement cell is really good and they work hard to get students placed. Almost half of the students in the mining department get hired by mining companies and other firms. Getting a job after graduation is pretty common here.
Campus: The campus at BIT college is really nice and appealing. They have all the engineering labs you need. The classrooms are in good shape. The teachers are top-notch and well-prepared. Plus, they have hi-tech labs for different departments.

Admission: The teachers at the college were really great. They were helpful and understood our problems. They made things easy to understand. The faculty were educated and had a lot of experience. The engineering courses at BIT cover mining, mechanical, electrical, computer science, civil, electrical, and telecommunication.
Placement: The college placements are pretty good. There are about 4-5 mining companies that come every year like Gemmco, Joy, SMS, and others. The placement team is really on it, making sure the best companies come for placements. Usually, around 30-40 students from mining get placed every year.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is amazing! It's hard to put into words how great it is. You really have to see it for yourself to understand. I definitely recommend checking out the college in person.

Admission: The hostel at MIT Institute of Design is cool for both guys and gals. You get a room to share with a buddy, and the furniture is top-notch. They've got everything covered - security all day, hot water from solar panels, RO water, round-the-clock water, wi-fi, veggie food only in the mess, a chill-out room with TV, gym, laundry, and cleaning service on point.
Placement: I really like studying Mining at this college. It's not common in Maharashtra, only 3 colleges offer it here and BIT is one of them. It's ranked third for Mining in Maharashtra. If you're interested in Mining, this college is a good choice.
Campus: The hostel at Bit Institute of Design is cool because they have separate places for guys and girls. They give you a room to share with one other person, and the furniture is really nice. The hostel has everything you need like security all day, hot water from solar power, clean water, wi-fi, and a mess hall with veg food. Plus, they have a TV room, gym, laundry, and cleaning service to keep everything tidy all the time. It's awesome!

Admission: The teachers and staff were super helpful and really knew their stuff. The course curriculum was spot on and made electrical engineering easier to grasp. I feel ready for the industry after finishing the course.
Placement: The placement program wasn't great. A lot of students didn't get placed and top companies didn't come for placements. The internships weren't that good either. Most students had to rely on self-study. Maybe things have gotten better now, but when I was there, it wasn't the best.
Campus: The college had good facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, and bus services. They also had sports and fun activities all year round. It was well-equipped for students' needs.

Admission: I study Computer Science and the professors here are awesome. They've been teaching for over 7 years. We mostly have traditional classes, but sometimes they use projectors and videos too. The only downside is we don't get much real-world experience. We do have an industrial tour once a year, though.
Placement: I graduated in 2016-17 from the computer science (CSE) department. About 13 of us got placed that year, including me. There were 6 companies offering opportunities, but some asked students to pay for training before joining. The salary ranged from 1.7 to 3 lakhs per year. CSE students got more chances compared to other branches, though they might receive lower pay. The college has a good Training & Placement cell which helps students find jobs.
Campus: The college has okay infrastructure, with 5 buildings. Each department has its own floor in one building. The labs have new equipment and computers. The classrooms and library are okay. The canteen food isn't great. The boys' hostel is on campus. Wi-Fi is only available in the first building and library.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really know their stuff and make sure we understand everything. They're always there to help out and treat us like family. The syllabus is covered well, and they even finish it ahead of schedule. And if we need extra help, they offer additional classes too. It's a great place to learn!
Placement: I was one of the lucky ones from a batch of around 120 students to get a job. About 40-50% of us found placements. I landed a job at Base4-AEC in Nagpur, earning 3 lakh per year. I work as an HVAC Design Engineer & REVIT Modeller. It's been three years now, and I'm loving my job as a Project Manager.
Campus: The hostel at BIT has great infrastructure with all the facilities you need. The staff is understanding and the water quality is good. Security is top-notch too. Overall, my time at the hostel was fun and memorable. The atmosphere is well-lit and pleasant. Luckily, there were no reports of ragging during my stay.

Admission: The civil branch teachers here are super knowledgeable and really helpful. They teach us both theory and practical stuff really well. The course prepares us nicely for the industry. Classes are 45 minutes long, and they happen regularly. I enjoy studying here a lot.
Placement: Our college is famous for its mining program, so mining students have lots of job opportunities. However, for civil engineering students, there are hardly any placements. Only a few companies come to campus for civil, and typically only a couple of students get hired each year. If you're considering studying civil engineering here, you might want to reconsider.
Campus: The hostel here is pretty decent. The library is really good and there are big labs that work well. The classrooms are nice too. The food in the canteen isn't great, just average. But overall, living in the hostel is good.

Admission: The teachers in the course are pretty helpful and know their stuff, but some are better at teaching than others. The exams in each semester can be a bit tough, but most people pass them. It feels like they set a good balance between being challenging and doable.
Placement: The job placements after our course can vary a lot - from 30% to 60%. Some students get really good jobs, while others have to settle for less. Haldiram Nagpur and ICICI Bank are some of the companies that hire a lot of students from our college.
Campus: The course facilities have everything you need like labs, classrooms, and libraries. They have medical facilities too, but they're pretty basic. And if you want to play sports, there are facilities for that too. The canteen food is decent, nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Â

Admission: The teachers at this college are really great. They show up on time and are very involved in the course. The staff and management are also good, and they pay a lot of attention to us students. It's a nice place to study.
Placement: I'm currently in my 3rd year of college working towards my degree. The college offers great placement opportunities with good salary packages. Every year, top companies such as Wipro visit our campus to hire students for their jobs. It's a great way for students to kickstart their careers right out of college.
Campus: I really like the layout of our college. The 1st building has the reception and offices like the principal's office and admission office. The 2nd building is for electrical and mass communication students. Computer science, MBA, and MCA are in the 3rd building. And the 4th building is where mechanical and civil engineering students have their classes. It's cool how everything is spread out like that!

Admission: The teachers here aren't very helpful, and they don't finish the syllabus on time. The university is pretty bad overall. Results always come late, and exams aren't strict at all. Everyone cheats, and the faculty turns a blind eye. When you need to recheck your results, you can only do it after the re-exam. It's frustrating that both results come at the same time.
Placement: Only 1% of students got placed, with the highest package at 5 LPA. Wind Soft, Infotech Nagpur was the top recruiting company. Unfortunately, no students got internships through the college. You have to find one on your own. The job roles available were full-stack and front-end developer positions.
Campus: The infrastructure here is pretty bad, with broken chairs and tables in the classes. The computer labs have slow PCs that hardly work. On the bright side, the library has a good collection of books. The hostel conditions are terrible, and the food in the mess is awful. Unfortunately, there's no medical facility on campus. Also, there's no proper ground for playing games.
