Admission: The teachers really knew their stuff and cared more about teaching than just getting through the material. Since the college follows VTU rules, our semester schedules match the VTU timetable. Most students do well in exams, and if you fail a subject, you can make it up in the next semester.
Placement: The college has great placements. Almost all of my classmates got jobs, and some wanted to continue studying. Our batch mostly got placed in companies like Cisco, Infosys, and Bosch. Salaries ranged from 6 LPA to 15 LPA. The college also helped with internships, which was cool.
Campus: The labs have all the equipment we need, and the food in the canteen is pretty good. I haven't checked out the hostel or mess food yet. The college gives some support for sports and games, which is cool. It's nice to know there's a hospital nearby in case of any medical issues. They even have first aid on every floor, which is reassuring.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart, many of them have Ph.D.s. They explain things well in class, but it's better to talk to them in person if you have questions. The stuff we learn is good for the industry, but it's a bit old compared to what's new now. Still, it's helpful to know the old stuff to get the new stuff. Our exams are pretty hard, especially because we learn about circuits and programming. Not everyone passes, but about 80% do.
Placement: Most students here get placed, which is great. The highest package offered was 26 LPA, while the average was 5 LPA. Companies like Bosch, ISRO, and BHEL come for recruitment. We have to find internships ourselves, and it's required. Many students end up interning at BHEL or other embedded companies.
Campus: The facilities here are really good. The labs have Wi-Fi and the classrooms can fit around 70 to 80 students. The library is easy to get to and has all kinds of books. You can even borrow books for a few days.

Admission: The teachers at our college are awesome! They're really helpful and supportive. Our college recently became autonomous, which is pretty cool. The exams for our course can be tough, but it's manageable. We have a total of 5 teachers, and the head of our department is super supportive in everything.
Placement: We're the first group studying robotics and AI at this college. We're not sure about job placements yet, but since we're part of the mechanical engineering program, things seem promising. Lately, we got to apply for internships through the college.
Campus: The campus is tiny but cozy. The hostel is good and the food is delicious. The Robotics and AI department is on the 6th floor of the new mechanical building at BIT. The hostel is conveniently close to the campus.

Admission: The teachers at BIT are pretty good overall. They have a lot of experience and know their stuff. The skill labs are also cool and help us get ready for work. The curriculum is linked to VTU. The exams can be tough, but if you study hard, you'll be fine. Lots of students pass their exams here.
Placement: Lots of students from our college get placed, so make sure to stay in the loop with job opportunities. Last year, the highest package offered to a student was 57 LPA. Internships start in the second year, with companies like Dell and Fidelity coming to interview students. The internships continue into the third year, so there are plenty of chances to gain experience.
Campus: The campus at BIT isn't the best, but it's got everything you need for studying. The library is big with lots of books. The classrooms are bright and airy. There are a few canteens with good food at affordable prices. No complaints about the facilities here!

Admission: The teachers here are really cool. They get us and make sure we understand everything. The courses they offer are up-to-date and help us learn practical stuff. The exams they give us push us to think deeper about what we're learning and how to use it in real life.
Placement: Honestly, around 55% of mechanical students get placed, but even those who don't are doing fine. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. Mahindra is a top company that hires from our college.
Campus: The facilities in our department are awesome for our course. We have all the stuff we need to do our best. The food in the canteen is yummy and doesn't cost much. The cheese maggie at Katil canteen is a must-eat it's so good!

Admission: The teachers for the BIT course are okay. The curriculum isn't super relevant, but it's short and gives you freedom to explore and do what you like. There's not too much pressure. Exams are easy, and you can easily keep a decent CGPA of 6.5+ to qualify for job placements.
Placement: The job opportunities here are okay. You gotta put in the effort to land a good job at BIT. The average salary is around Rs 6.5 lakh per year, and the highest pay was Rs 37.5 lakh last year. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, and others hired students from our campus.
Campus: The robotics and artificial intelligence department at Bangalore Institute of Technology is great. They have awesome facilities and a cool robot that costs over 2 crore rupees. The professors are pretty good too. One thing to watch out for is that the hostel gets full really fast, so you might have to stay in a nearby PG or hostel for around $10,000 a month. The hostel at BIT costs 11k per month.

Admission: The teachers here are not great. They don't really care if we get what they're teaching. They just talk and leave, no real connection with us. Exams are quite simple. They either don't pay attention to how we write or they take off points for tiny errors.
Placement: I love how our college brings in big companies for job opportunities. This year, lots of students got hired based on their grades. Companies like Mercedes Benz and Toyota came by to recruit us. It's cool that we start interning in the 5th semester.
Campus: The college's network is really bad. It's hard to find a good connection anywhere on campus. The Wi-Fi they have doesn't work well, and no one knows the password. The only spot with decent Wi-Fi is the stationary shop in the campus.

Admission: The teachers were super nice and always ready to help with our studies. They really knew their stuff. The course got us ready for working in the real world. Some semesters were tough, but the teachers were there for us. Most students passed with 65% or higher.
Placement: The college's placement record is really good. Last year, more than half of the students got jobs. The highest salary was 24 lakhs per year, while the lowest was 6 lakhs per year. Big companies like Google, Cognizant, Microsoft, TCS, and Cisco hired students. Also, most students got internships with good pay. They were offered roles like data scientist and data analyst.
Campus: The college has awesome infrastructure with lots of greenery around. It's close to transportation, and the labs and classrooms are always clean. The hostel is really nice and well-kept, plus the food in the mess and canteen is healthy and tasty. Living here as a student is great!

Admission: The teachers in our college are pretty good, but not all of them explain things well. I'd give teaching a 3 out of 5. Depending on how you study on your own, it can be tricky since not all teachers are great at explaining. The course curriculum doesn't fully prepare you for the industry; you have to take extra courses and apply them in real life. The semester exams are quite challenging, mostly because it's a university. I'd say the pass rate is around 60-70%.
Placement: I'm in the CSE department and happy to share that most students here have landed jobs. The top offer was 58 LPA from Microsoft. The lowest was 4 LPA, and the average is around 7 to 8 LPA. Companies like Fidelity Investments, Cisco, Everts, Dell, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs visit our campus. Also, about 20 percent of us got internships in big companies like Amazon, Cisco, Fidelity Investments, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs. They offer roles like SDE, Java Developer, Full Stack Developer, Business Analyst, and Data Analyst.
Campus: The facilities here are pretty good. They have Wi-Fi, and the library is nice. The food for lunch and dinner is good, but breakfast is hit or miss. They don't have sports stuff, but you can get medical help if you need it in an emergency.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and supportive. Most of them are working on their Ph.D. Some of them struggle a bit with explaining things clearly. They tend to just read off the slides. One professor doesn't acknowledge when we point out mistakes in their lectures. But overall, the rest of the faculty are great at teaching and know their stuff.
Placement: I'm a student at BIT right now. I found out about this college from my cousins who go to different colleges. They told me about BIT and its great placement opportunities. The college helps us develop both our technical and communication skills. I got in through COMEDK and I'm really happy with my choice.
Campus: BIT is a pretty old college in Karnataka. The infrastructure here is not great, especially for our courses. The hostel isn't that great either and it's pricey. We didn't know much about the facilities when we joined the college.
