Admission: The teachers here are really nice and supportive. Most of them are working on their Ph.D. Some of them struggle a bit with explaining things clearly. They tend to just read off the slides. One professor doesn't acknowledge when we point out mistakes in their lectures. But overall, the rest of the faculty are great at teaching and know their stuff.

Placement: I'm a student at BIT right now. I found out about this college from my cousins who go to different colleges. They told me about BIT and its great placement opportunities. The college helps us develop both our technical and communication skills. I got in through COMEDK and I'm really happy with my choice.

Campus: BIT is a pretty old college in Karnataka. The infrastructure here is not great, especially for our courses. The hostel isn't that great either and it's pricey. We didn't know much about the facilities when we joined the college.

Admission: The teachers in our college are pretty good, but not all of them explain things well. I'd give teaching a 3 out of 5. Depending on how you study on your own, it can be tricky since not all teachers are great at explaining. The course curriculum doesn't fully prepare you for the industry; you have to take extra courses and apply them in real life. The semester exams are quite challenging, mostly because it's a university. I'd say the pass rate is around 60-70%.

Placement: I'm in the CSE department and happy to share that most students here have landed jobs. The top offer was 58 LPA from Microsoft. The lowest was 4 LPA, and the average is around 7 to 8 LPA. Companies like Fidelity Investments, Cisco, Everts, Dell, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs visit our campus. Also, about 20 percent of us got internships in big companies like Amazon, Cisco, Fidelity Investments, Oracle, and Goldman Sachs. They offer roles like SDE, Java Developer, Full Stack Developer, Business Analyst, and Data Analyst.

Campus: The facilities here are pretty good. They have Wi-Fi, and the library is nice. The food for lunch and dinner is good, but breakfast is hit or miss. They don't have sports stuff, but you can get medical help if you need it in an emergency.

Admission: The teachers here are not great. They don't really care if we get what they're teaching. They just talk and leave, no real connection with us. Exams are quite simple. They either don't pay attention to how we write or they take off points for tiny errors.

Placement: I love how our college brings in big companies for job opportunities. This year, lots of students got hired based on their grades. Companies like Mercedes Benz and Toyota came by to recruit us. It's cool that we start interning in the 5th semester.

Campus: The college's network is really bad. It's hard to find a good connection anywhere on campus. The Wi-Fi they have doesn't work well, and no one knows the password. The only spot with decent Wi-Fi is the stationary shop in the campus.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and know their stuff. They're always there to help you out. I gotta say, the ISE department has some top-notch faculty. The course got a refresh in 2022, which is awesome because it keeps us up-to-date for the job market. Exams at the university aren't too challenging. If you put in the work, you can get good grades without a problem. Just make sure your handwriting is neat and you're all set.

Placement: I'm studying in the ISE branch at BIT, so let's chat about ISE. This year, about 85% of students got placed, including off-campus. The average salary was 8.7 lakh. The lowest offer was 3.7 lakh, and the highest was 28 lakh on-campus from Razorpay and 58 lakh off-campus from Google. TCS, Infosys, PhonePe, Dell, Razorpay, and Flipkart are some of the top companies that hire here. The first big on-campus internship is in the 5th semester, with around 35-40 students out of 150 getting it. Fidelity, Dell, and Boeing are the main recruiters. Fidelity is the top one, and Dell tends to hire more girls.

Campus: The department is on the 6th floor and has great labs and classrooms with projectors. The only problem is the network, which doesn't work across the whole campus. But the computers in the lab have fast internet through Ethernet. Some labs have good Wi-Fi, but not everywhere. The hostels come in 2, 3, and 4 sharing, but first-years only get 4 sharing. If you arrive early, you might get a better room. The food isn't amazing, but it's better than other places I've seen.

Admission: I found that most teachers were really smart and ready to help. We follow the curriculum set by VTU which covers a mix of technical and general knowledge subjects. The semester exams were challenging but fair, with a passing score of 35% (around 18 out of 50 marks).

Placement: I decided to join this college because I heard they have great placements. But, after joining, I noticed that the placements have decreased a bit. The placements are still good, but I'm not sure how many people actually get placed. Google offers the highest package at 58 LPA, while the average package is 8 LPA.

Campus: The classrooms have nice new benches and projectors. The labs work well too. There are lots of libraries, even departmental ones. The campus is a bit small, and the Wi-Fi isn't always reliable.

Admission: The teachers here mostly have Ph.Ds and really know their stuff. They teach well so it's not hard to grasp the material. The curriculum is practical and gets us ready for the real world. Exams are tough, like the ones from VTU. Passing can be a challenge, with only a 35% success rate.

Placement: Most students get placed each year, around 80%. The highest salary offered is 98 LPA, while the average is 25 LPA and the lowest is 12 LPA. Top companies that come for placements are Capgemini, Oracle, Amazon, and Flipkart. Popular roles offered are Training Manager, Junior Assistant, and Junior Manager. About 60% of students also get internships.

Campus: The college has great facilities, like big classrooms with projectors and labs with internet and lots of computers. The hostel is clean and the rooms are nice. The food is good, and they even have sports facilities!

Admission: The teachers here are really smart, many of them have Ph.D.s. They explain things well in class, but it's better to talk to them in person if you have questions. The stuff we learn is good for the industry, but it's a bit old compared to what's new now. Still, it's helpful to know the old stuff to get the new stuff. Our exams are pretty hard, especially because we learn about circuits and programming. Not everyone passes, but about 80% do.

Placement: Most students here get placed, which is great. The highest package offered was 26 LPA, while the average was 5 LPA. Companies like Bosch, ISRO, and BHEL come for recruitment. We have to find internships ourselves, and it's required. Many students end up interning at BHEL or other embedded companies.

Campus: The facilities here are really good. The labs have Wi-Fi and the classrooms can fit around 70 to 80 students. The library is easy to get to and has all kinds of books. You can even borrow books for a few days.

Admission: The teachers at our college are awesome! They're really helpful and supportive. Our college recently became autonomous, which is pretty cool. The exams for our course can be tough, but it's manageable. We have a total of 5 teachers, and the head of our department is super supportive in everything.

Placement: We're the first group studying robotics and AI at this college. We're not sure about job placements yet, but since we're part of the mechanical engineering program, things seem promising. Lately, we got to apply for internships through the college.

Campus: The campus is tiny but cozy. The hostel is good and the food is delicious. The Robotics and AI department is on the 6th floor of the new mechanical building at BIT. The hostel is conveniently close to the campus.

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff, so that's a plus. The course is great if you're aiming for core companies. The exams are tough, but you only need to pass 50% to get through. Overall, it's a good course to take. It's also a good idea to pick up some coding skills on the side.

Placement: About half of us in my course got placed. The highest salary offered was 10 LPA and the lowest was 4 LPA. Companies like Bosch, Wipro, Samsung, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Oracle are the main recruiters. Internships were a bit limited, but a few students landed internships at Microchip and Bosch. Even though I'm in a core branch, I had to apply for software engineer positions.

Campus: The labs in my department were pretty good with Wi-Fi, but the benches in the classrooms were old and broken. The classrooms were big and spacious. The hostel was clean, spacious, and nice. They served good food and there were lots of fun events and celebrations in the hostel.

Admission: The teachers were super nice and always ready to help with our studies. They really knew their stuff. The course got us ready for working in the real world. Some semesters were tough, but the teachers were there for us. Most students passed with 65% or higher.

Placement: The college's placement record is really good. Last year, more than half of the students got jobs. The highest salary was 24 lakhs per year, while the lowest was 6 lakhs per year. Big companies like Google, Cognizant, Microsoft, TCS, and Cisco hired students. Also, most students got internships with good pay. They were offered roles like data scientist and data analyst.

Campus: The college has awesome infrastructure with lots of greenery around. It's close to transportation, and the labs and classrooms are always clean. The hostel is really nice and well-kept, plus the food in the mess and canteen is healthy and tasty. Living here as a student is great!
