Admission: The teachers here are a mixed bag. Some are really great, but most are just okay. They don't seem to care much and can be unfair sometimes. If you question them, they might lower your grades since it's an autonomous college. The course content is pretty outdated and not very useful for real-world jobs. We don't get much hands-on coding practice, just a lot of theory.
Placement: The job placements here are okay. Not many big companies come here for campus placements, so most students have to find jobs off-campus. The salary offered is usually around 1.8 LPA to 2 LPA, which is not that great. We mostly see small companies and startups coming for placements, offering low wages.
Campus: The classrooms are nice, but the computer labs are a mess. Most computers don't work, and the software is really old. The library is good, but the Wi-Fi is slow, not high-speed like they claim. The hostels are okay, but the food in the mess is bad. The sports facilities are good, but the gym has old machines that are broken.

Admission: The teacher was really nice and knew their stuff. They were always ready to help and not just about teaching the subject, they also talked about values. I liked it a lot. Yeah, you gotta put in some effort. If you don't study enough, you might not pass.
Placement: The college administration is pretty bad, so not many companies come for placements. But around 89% to 96% of students still get placed. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft hire students. However, the package offered is not great, and it depends on the topper's marks.
Campus: The library was great, but the hostel facilities were really bad. The canteen had good food, and there were lots of soft drink counters in the college. Overall, the facilities were good, and I liked the college.

Admission: The teachers at BCET Gurdaspur are really helpful and know their stuff. They're all well-qualified, from M.Tech to Ph.D. The student-to-teacher ratio is about 1:30, which is cool. The course content was super useful too.
Placement: The job placements at BCET Gurdaspur are really good. Most students there are very talented. In 2018, around 80% of students got placed. The lowest salary offered was 1.8 LPA, and the average was 3 LPA. Companies like Catalystone, TCS, Swaraj, and more came for placements. Also, about 90% of students got internships through the college. The highest stipend for internships ranged from 8k to 15k per month. BCET Gsp has a good Training and Placement Cell to help students out.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They give out notes and you can ask them anything. The college gets you ready for the industry and there are lots of activities to join in. The exams aren't too hard if you put in the effort.
Placement: Around half of the students found jobs on campus. The best offer so far is 6 LPA. Big companies like Nestle and Swaraj come for placements. They select students based on grades and attitude. Placements are okay, not amazing. It's a decent choice for college.
Campus: The facilities and studies at the college are really good. The hostels and classrooms don't get enough credit though. The campus has Wi-Fi which is awesome. The food and meals are top-notch. Every course has advanced labs. Overall, the courses and hostels are pretty good.

Admission: The teachers at our college are super helpful. There's a lot going on campus, so you'll never be bored. The courses here are the best in all of Punjab. This college is known as the top government college in the area. The teachers are really smart, with PhDs and all. They teach us stuff from the books and also about the latest technologies out there.
Placement: I really like how many great companies come to our college for placements. Lots of students get internships and then full-time jobs. You can work as an engineer trainer, computer programmer, or even join the Indian Army, Navy, Airforce, Infosys, and more. It's awesome!
Campus: The hotels at our college were top-notch compared to others. We had Wi-Fi, a fun indoor play hall, a TV room, and even a LAN room with LAN ports. The food was really good, and they always had options that students liked. The labs were super modern and up-to-date. The medical facilities were awesome, and they even had an ambulance for emergencies. There was an external canteen where you could get everything you needed. Plus, there was a bank on campus for easy payments and cash withdrawals. They also organized games and sports to keep us active and healthy.

Admission: There are around 55 faculty members on campus who are there to help students. In the mechanical engineering department, there are 22 Ph.D. teachers. The freshmen at BCET are well-prepared for jobs at big companies and are skilled in design and industry. A lot of students are also interested in working in defense.
Placement: Around 35% of us final year students got jobs in different companies. Companies like Sonalika, Mahindra and Mahindra, and cheema boilers were interested in hiring mechanical engineers. They also offered jobs to students from Biotechnology, IT, CSE, ECE, CE, CHE, and agriculture courses. The salary package ranged from 2.4lac to 8lac. About 8% of us got internships too.
Campus: The campus has co-ed living with 4 hostels for guys and girls. They've got all the latest labs and a central workshop. Every year, they have 10 university-level athletic games for sports fans. It's a great place for game lovers!

Admission: The staff at our college were super nice and always ready to help out. They knew their stuff and taught really well. The course content was spot on. Overall, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and great at teaching.
Placement: Most of us found jobs after finishing our course, which was cool. Some are thinking about studying more, and others are doing their family business. The pay is decent, mostly around 3 to 5 LPA. Big companies like Wipro, Oracle, Amazon, and Infosys hire a lot of students from our course. A few of us are thinking about studying further, too.
Campus: Our college has awesome facilities and top-notch infrastructure. We've got air-conditioned labs, classrooms, libraries, and a reading room. Plus, Wi-Fi is available everywhere. They also have cool stuff like games, medical facilities, sports, a canteen, and a mess. It's all pretty great here!

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff. They're really good at teaching. The smart classrooms make classes fun. The teachers are always there to support us, especially in our favorite subjects. They even offer extra classes for students who need more help.
Placement: Most of us haven't got jobs yet, but companies will be coming to campus in August 2019. If you're studying mechanical engineering, Sonalika ITL is the main company hiring from here. But if you're in CSE, ECE, or IT, lots of companies come for recruitment. Not everyone gets placed, but if you're good, you have a chance.
Campus: Our college has separate hostels for each year with Wi-Fi. There's also a girls' hostel. The library has lots of books. We have an auditorium for cultural events. The workshop has big machines, the best in Punjab. And we've got sports fields for basketball, football, lawn tennis, volleyball, and badminton.

Admission: The professors here are really knowledgeable and supportive. The course may not be super relevant, but it's good enough to land you a job. They offer two industrial training sessions, so you'll be well-prepared for the industry. We get 45 days of training after the second semester and a 6-month internship in the 8th semester. Plus, we work on 4 projects, which exposes us to different industries and technologies. It's a great way to get hands-on experience!
Placement: Around 40% of us got jobs after college. The pay ranged from 1.2 Lacs to 2.8 Lacs. Companies like Amazon, zapbuild, lenstrack, and sachtect hired us for roles like software engineer and web developer. About 30% of us landed internships too.
Campus: The campus has a library open all day and night. Wi-Fi is everywhere. Hostels are nice and affordable. Food in the hostel is tasty. There's a medical center on campus, 2 canteens, and lots of sports and cultural events. You can join University sports and youth festivals. Joining clubs helps you learn new skills. The college helps you become a better leader, overcome stage fright, and mingle with a crowd.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really helpful and know their stuff. But not gonna lie, teaching quality can be hit or miss. Some teachers rock while others, not so much. They mix it up with practical lessons, theory, and tutorials. The ratio of students to faculty is pretty good. However, I wish we got more exposure to the industry.
Placement: The placements for our batch were pretty good. Even students with low percentages got placed. The average salary offered was around 2.70 lakhs per year. Different companies came for placements, offering roles like consultants and data analysts. If you pass their exams, you can get an internship with a stipend of Rs. 5,000-10,000 per month. The placement cell is really helpful and gets things done efficiently.
Campus: The college has great facilities. We get Wi-Fi for 16 hours, and the labs are awesome. Classrooms are nice, and the library is open 24/7 with lots of books. The medical services are good, and there's a dispensary on campus. Sports facilities are cool, and the canteen food is tasty. Hostel rooms are really nice too.
