Admission: The teachers here are mostly new, and some of them haven't finished their M.Tech yet. But they're really nice and try their best to help us. They teach using the board and sometimes use PowerPoint too. There's about 5-6 teachers for every 30-35 students, so the ratio is good. We went on a cool field trip to a hydro power plant in Dakpathar Vikas Nagar.

Placement: I go to Beehive College in Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It's about 24 km from isbt Dehradun. You can take a Vikas Nagar bus, magic, or tempo to get there. Let's talk about placements. When I joined, there weren't any placements for us or our seniors. But this year, some IT companies came and a few students got placed. However, there are no placements for mechanical, civil, or electrical students. The highest package for CSE department is around 2 lakhs. They recently opened a placement cell, but my college doesn't provide internships. We have to find internships on our own.

Campus: Beehive College has a really nice campus with over 20 acres of land. There are lots of buildings for different departments and labs. The classrooms are big and well lit, but sadly no Wi-Fi in the labs. We have a big library and sports events like cricket, volleyball, football, and indoor games are held too. There's even a medical facility because they also run B.A.M.S. here. The labs are well equipped, but some tools don't work. The canteen serves good quality food and the hostel is cheap and clean. There's plenty of space in the rooms and 2 big playgrounds for us. Overall, I'd rate my college 4 out of 5 for its great infrastructure.

Admission: The teachers were pretty good overall. Some had tons of degrees but lacked knowledge, while others were just average which is normal, I guess. A few teachers helped us prepare for entrance exams, but most students were too lazy to take advantage of it. Our semester exams were really tough, like super hard. It was a struggle to pass all the subjects. The passing rate was only 30%.

Placement: The college didn't organize any campus placements for us. No companies came to hire us like they said they would. It was nothing like what they promised at the start. When people asked us about the college, we told them not to join because they didn't keep their promises.

Campus: The campus had okay buildings, but the atmosphere was nice. The classrooms were decent, and the library offered free textbooks all semester. However, the college didn't give us Wi-Fi like they said they would. Most lab equipment didn't work well, and the lab assistants weren't very helpful. The hostel was pretty good. I commuted, but my friends lived there. Not many opportunities to play sports at this college.

Admission: The teachers at our college were really good and they knew their stuff. They gave us both practical and bookish knowledge. The ratio of teachers to students was decent. We got to go on field trips every semester, which was cool.

Placement: As a civil engineering student, I noticed that not many companies came for placements in my batch. Most other branches had better opportunities. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Good thing is, our college has a placement cell to help out.

Campus: The college has good infrastructure. The classrooms are clean and tidy. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus. They have sports like basketball and football. The library has lots of books. And if you need medical help, they've got facilities for that too.

Admission: The teachers at the college varied in experience, with only a few being really experienced. They were all friendly and nice though. The teaching methods weren't very advanced, and we didn't go on industrial visits often. In fact, we only went on one during my course.

Placement: The college's placement reputation is really not good. When I was in my last year, the college didn't invite any company for mechanical engineering students. The CS branch had one company, 'Micron soft', come in and they hired around 5 or 6 CS students. Overall, my placement experience at the college was pretty bad.

Campus: The classrooms and labs were nice. You can borrow books from the library for up to a week. The campus is clean and has Wi-Fi. They also do cricket and sports events. Hostel rooms are good, but the food in the mess is not great. The canteen on campus is clean and good.

Admission: The teachers here are pretty good, but they keep changing because the college doesn't pay them on time. Sometimes they have to wait 3-4 months to get paid. The teachers are nice and helpful, but the college director isn't great. He doesn't really know how to manage the college well, just focused on his own interests.

Placement: This college is the worst one I've seen. They don't help with placements or bring any companies for campus interviews. No internships either. All they care about is money. And if you miss classes, they fine you. It seems like they favor students from Kashmir because one Kashmiri student can bring in lots of new students. Plus, they offer Rs. 25,000 if you refer a student to join.

Campus: The college library is nice, but the Wi-Fi is super slow feels like it's 1GB or even less. Hostel is okay, but the food there is really terrible. Once you're in the hostel, it's hard to leave. And if you do manage to get out, they'll still make you pay the fee.

Admission: The teachers were friendly, but they didn't know much. They didn't do much hands-on teaching, just copied stuff. The class sizes were too big, like 30 students to 1 teacher. We didn't get to see much of the real world industry stuff. The lessons were long and boring, needed a lot of patience to get through.

Placement: The placements for my senior batch were alright. Most of us got jobs, around 80%. The highest salary was Rs. 75,000 for an engineering student, while the lowest was Rs. 25,000 for a civil engineering student. The average was around Rs. 45,000. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and L&T hired us. We got roles like assistant engineer, tech support, and admin executive. About 60% of us also got internships from the college, which was cool.

Campus: The college has a library and a sports hall. The Wi-Fi is bad, only works at certain times, and is slow. The labs are okay, but the classrooms lack facilities like projectors. The canteen mostly serves veg food, with occasional subpar non-veg options. Hostel rooms come in single, double, and triple-sharing. They are basic, and the toilets are dirty. A cleaner comes daily though. The internet is not great, but there's a computer room for studying.

Admission: The teachers are really great! They know their stuff and are always ready to help us out. They teach well and the course content is really useful for learning new things. It's a great way to improve your knowledge.

Placement: The job opportunities at my college were okay. Some seniors got jobs, but not everyone. Around 40% of them found jobs. The companies offer around Rs. 14,000-16,000 per month on average. They also offer internships for students to learn more easily.

Campus: The college's buildings are okay, not great. The medical services aren't the best. They have a separate area just for sports, which is cool. Students who like sports can join different activities there.

Admission: The teachers were really helpful and knew their stuff. The teaching was okay, not amazing. The course content was on point, but they didn't focus much on real-life skills or personal growth.

Placement: None of us in the civil engineering program got jobs through campus placements. We had to search for job opportunities ourselves. None of the companies interested in civil engineering visited our campus for recruitment. The job roles available were mainly in site work, design work, and quality checks.

Campus: The campus was okay, not too fancy. Food was great though. They had games inside and outside. No gym, but the library had lots of books by Indian authors. Classrooms were nice, but no smart boards.
