Admission: The teachers here are a mix of super experienced and really smart, but also some are fresh out of college. I'd rate this college 2.5 out of 5. Some department heads have worked at companies like THAT and BHEL, but others are new and lack teaching or industry experience.
Placement: There aren't any job opportunities for aeronautical engineering, but CSE and other branches have a few companies visiting for placements. Avoid choosing fancy branches like petroleum, nanotechnology, and aeronautical because they have zero placement. The companies that visit mainly offer BPO or technical support roles, with some reputed ones like Indian army and TCS also coming on campus.
Campus: The main campus of the university is being renovated, but they have great labs for mechanical, civil, electrical, and CSE courses. The hostel food is not that great, and the rooms are pretty small. The Wi-Fi is spotty, and there's a water issue on campus. Unfortunately, there's no air conditioning. Getting around can be tough because the college bus isn't always running. The cafeteria offers a good variety of food though. I wouldn't suggest day boarding because there's always a shortage of food.

Admission: The teachers and staff here are really helpful and know their stuff. They use both new and old teaching methods which is cool. The student-teacher ratio is 30:1, but I still got a lot out of my b.tech mechanical program. The curriculum was practical and helped me learn a lot.
Placement: Placement opportunities for my batch and the seniors weren't great. The highest package was around 6 Lacs and the lowest was 1.60 Lacs. But, around 70-80% of students get internships in Indian railways and other companies. Unfortunately, there's no placement cell to help with job hunting.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi, a good library, and medical facilities. The classrooms and labs are well-maintained. The food in the canteen and hostel is good. I didn't have any issues with the facilities during my time there. Sports and games are also available on campus.

Admission: The teachers here are okay, some are really experienced and some are new. If you like studying on your own, this is a good college for you. But if you want top-notch teachers, maybe look elsewhere. The course material is old but good, and you can borrow books from the library. The internet is super fast, and there are free labs to use.
Placement: Getting a job from college is possible, but you need to be ready for the interview. It's up to you to find a job that suits your skills. The placement cell can help you with job opportunities that fit your qualifications. You can get advice from teachers, former HMT employees, or other companies to help you land a job. Just be prepared to put in the effort to secure a job that's right for you.
Campus: The university has everything a student needs to learn and grow. There's a library, labs, canteen, gym hall, and sports facilities right on campus. They even have a lift for students who need it. The gym has all the equipment to stay fit, and there's a sports teacher if you want to play games. The teachers are always there to help with academics, offering coaching 24/7. It's a great place to study and have fun!

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and always ready to help. They start from the beginning of the course, which is great. The course covers all the basics you need. The exams are not too hard, but you still need to practice. The pass rate is around 33%.
Placement: Being new here, I don't know much about the companies that come for placements. But I've heard that there are opportunities for internships at NGOs or district courts for students.
Campus: The classrooms are nice, and there's Wi-Fi in the library. Food at the hostel is good. The law faculty organizes lots of sports activities. The canteen needs to be cleaner, and the food is just okay.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful and there are lots of fun activities like NCC and NSS happening all the time. They throw awesome events for new students, have an annual day, and a cool farewell party. And if you're into sports, they even have a sports week every semester.
Placement: If you're studying engineering, chances are you'll get placed here. Unfortunately, during my time, due to COVID, the university didn't offer online placements. This was a major drawback. My seniors were able to secure jobs through placements here, but I missed out because of the lack of online placement opportunities at the university.
Campus: The infrastructure for agricultural engineering is pretty good. However, there aren't enough faculty members. The hostel is nice, but there are some problems with the food. The labs could be better too. If you choose to study here, you might have to seek out additional learning opportunities elsewhere, like at a training center.

Admission: The teachers here are really knowledgeable and experienced. They make learning easy to understand. The mining program lasts for 3 years. In the first year, we covered the basics of mining, while the main mining courses are in the 2nd and 3rd years.
Placement: The college gives you a Diploma after 3 years of study. After that, you gotta do PDPT, gas testing, and lamp handling for the GT. You have to be 20 years old. Once you finish PDPT and GT, send all your documents to the mines office for an overman certificate.
Campus: The campus is huge with everything we need. They have a hostel, canteen, big playground, and organize fun events like sports day. The library is massive, and they have all the labs for mining. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers here are nice, but they don't seem to know much about what they're teaching. It feels like they're just doing it for a side gig. The teaching isn't great. The semester exams were a breeze everyone passes, but no one really scores above 80%.
Placement: None of us in my course got a job offer from any big companies. Only a local startup showed up for placements, offering around 10 to 15 thousand. Out of around 15-20 students in my college, only a few got placed. The college promised big companies like Google, Amazon, and Reliance would come for placements, but that didn't happen.
Campus: The Wi-Fi is only for staff, but students can use it in the hostel. It's pretty slow, though. The library is open to everyone, but you need to pay 100 INR for a library pass. The canteen is nice, and the medical services are okay. Just a heads up, the college doesn't provide any sports equipment.

Admission: The teachers are really smart and know a lot, but sometimes they don't explain things in a way that's easy to understand. The teaching could be better. The course doesn't fully prepare us for the job market. Exams are pretty simple if you study for a bit, and you can score around 60-70%.
Placement: I was in a course where only a small percentage of students got placed around 1.5%. The highest package offered was 2 LPA, while the average was around 96,000 per year. Companies like Zinc Mine and Western Coal Field visited our campus for placements. Around 4.2% of students landed internships in companies like WCL, SECL, and BCCL.
Campus: There are only two teachers in our course, which is a bit low. We have Wi-Fi, a gas chamber, and average classrooms. The library is nice, but the librarian isn't great. Hostel life provides water, food, beds, and fans, but there's too much ragging. The mess and canteen serve okay food. On the bright side, sports and games facilities are pretty good.

Admission: I really like this college because it's great. They have lots of fun events every year that students enjoy. A lot of alumni keep coming back, and the staff are all really nice. Plus, there are scholarships available that many students take advantage of. It's a good place to be!
Placement: The college has good placement opportunities. In our batch, 20 guys got placed in top companies and are working now. I also got job offers from 5 companies like JCB, Minda, and QACA. Reliance Jio also visits our college for placements. The Training and Placement Officer (TPO) of the college is really helpful. I'm happy with my college choice.
Campus: The faculty at this college knows their stuff. They've got tons of experience. The labs are stocked with all kinds of instruments, including a cool CNC machine. Lots of students love taking lab classes 'cause they're super helpful for future manufacturing jobs.

Admission: The teachers are okay, but they could be better at teaching. We have to do more hands-on stuff than just reading. The pass rate is decent. The classes don't really prepare us for work in the real world. Our agriculture group is the second one, so we don't have enough lab equipment. Still, the campus is not too bad overall.
Placement: The placements here are not great since the salary packages are low. The course quality is also pretty low. The highest salary offered is around 2 LPA. Some companies are starting to hire students from our college. Unfortunately, there are no internships available for our course. Since our batch is the first to go for placements, we missed out on top companies.
Campus: The college had good Wi-Fi and lab facilities, which was great. They also had a field for practicals which was helpful. The hostel facilities were really good, but the food was a bit hard to adjust to. The college provided enough medical help and there was a canteen and a sports ground. They even had a special sports week every month which was cool.
