Admission: Getting admission into this college involved a clear process. The merit list was out on time, followed by several counselling rounds. Academic: From my experience, the teachers in our college are really great. All departments have highly qualified faculty members who seriously help us a lot to achieve our goals. You know, exams here are very tough, but that's because our college has a very good name and reputation all over the country.

Placement: BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MESRA is a very good college for a bright future. The placements here are really good, with the highest package touching 51 LPA and the average being around 6-7 LPA. No student who gets admission to this college will ever regret it, as it's a reputed college all across our country.

Campus: The hostels in our college are really good, probably way better than what you'll find in other colleges. The rooms are super big, so there's plenty of space to stay. We also get free Wi-Fi and 24x7 electricity, which is a lifesaver. Speaking of infrastructure, it's very good overall. We have awesome classrooms and labs with ACs, which is nice. The whole campus is always neat and clean. Also, a good thing is that the seniors here are all very friendly with each other.

Academic: Our teachers here are really helpful and supportive, always ready to clear up any problems we have. A lot of them even hold Ph.D. degrees in what they teach, which shows how good they are. So, you can expect the teaching quality to be quite good. They really work to make sure students are ready for the industry when they finish college. Semester exams can feel a bit difficult, but if you just concentrate a little bit, passing them won't be an issue.

Placement: Almost half of the students from our college get placed, which is good. The highest salary package touched 51 LPA, offered by Microsoft, which is super impressive. Many companies also come here for internships and full-time job offers. We see roles like software engineer, software developer, and web developer quite often. The average salary package is around 10 LPA, with the lowest being 4 to 5 LPA. A big company like CGI even took 25-30 students from our batch.

Campus: College has good facilities. Like, there is LAN access in every room, especially in the labs. Classrooms are nice too. The library is also pretty good, having almost all books for our course, and many novels are there to read. But hostel facilities are only average. And the food, which is a big thing, is also just average.

Top companies like Microsoft and Amazon come for hiring. We even had some amazing offers, like a girl from the 2019 batch getting 53 LPA from Microsoft, and another one getting 41 LPA from Amazon. A few students, about 2-3 of them, even got salaries more than 20 LPA. Most of the CSE students usually get packages around 11 LPA. Plus, almost everyone in CSE managed to get off-campus internships, with the highest stipend being 40-50k per month.

Campus: Talking about facilities, the infrastructure here is just okay. I feel like it could be much better, but we manage. Classrooms are fine, though they could use some upgrades too. We have a library, but it's not very big. There are courts for badminton and basketball if you like sports. Hostel life is actually pretty good, especially when you have your best friends around. The food quality can be a bit hit or miss; sometimes it's really good, and sometimes not so much.

Campus: My college is in Ratanpur, which is a small village kind of place. Even though the campus is pretty big, like 25 acres, the overall infrastructure is not really good. The Wi-Fi is just okay, not super fast or anything. Inside the college, our classrooms are quite basic, just like school rooms, and there's no AC in them.

Placement: I've seen at BIT Deoghar campus, almost everyone gets placed. Big companies like Wipro, TCS, Goldman, Tata, and Tata Steel come to recruit us, and many more too. Even though it's an off-campus, our training and placement cell does a really good job managing these recruiters. Internships here are also quite good, with almost 70% of the students getting a chance for them.

Campus: Institute has good facilities. The classrooms are modern, with projectors and comfy furniture. We also get Wi-Fi all over the campus, which is really helpful. The library is also well-stocked with all types of books, research papers, and journals. Plus, the canteen food is decent, and there's a sports ground too for playing.

Most of them don't know how to teach students properly; they just make us learn things by heart, not really understand. It seems like they want us to fail so that we have to pay extra for re-exams or back papers.

Placement: At our college, most companies visiting offer roles in SDE, web development, or sales. We only get mass recruiters here, not the big Faang companies, which is a bit disappointing. Even though this is a branch of BIT Mesra, the management faculty members are not very good, and they kind of ignore us. It feels bad because students pay a lot of money, but we don't get proper help with placements or internships.

Campus: Even after paying a lot of money, our college doesn't provide basic facilities. The mess food quality is really bad here. We sometimes even find insects and worms in the food. Because of this poor mess food, many boys are getting sick with typhoid and other diseases.

Campus: So, about our college, the infrastructure is quite good. We have a main building just for B.Tech courses, and then another building that handles different programs like agriculture and BBA. Other important stuff includes a canteen, a dispensary, and even an electric building. Our faculty members also have quarters on campus. The hostel facilities are pretty good here, and a big plus is the food. The mess and canteen food quality is really nice, way better than what you find in other colleges.

Placement: Around eighty percent of students from our batch got placed, which is great. The remaining students chose to go for their Masters degrees in some good universities. We mostly got roles like web developer, full stack developer, and other software related jobs with really good salary packages. I myself am working as a web developer at Canara HSBC Life.

Campus: The infrastructure was quite old and rusty when I was a student here. But good thing, it is currently under renovation. I really feel like the college cafeteria needs a lot of work too. A modern design for the whole college, especially the cafeteria, would make our college look much better and improve its reputation a lot.
