BIT Mesra, Lalpur Extension Center Reviews & Ratings 2026 – Authentic Student Feedback

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced and helpful. They have advanced degrees and never leave anyone behind. The courses could use more practical stuff instead of just theories and exams. The semester papers were okay, mostly covering what we learned in class.

Placement: Around 90-100 students landed jobs at Wipro, while 2 got hired by SAP and 60-70 by TCS. The highest salary was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The main companies hiring were Wipro, TCS, and SAP. Unfortunately, there were no internships available. The popular job roles were Web Developer and Software Engineer.

Campus: The college has good Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and smart classes. The library has lots of academic books. There's no hostel at BIT Lalpur. There are two buildings: one for office work and one for classes. The campus has a playground for kho-kho and kabaddi, plus a big parking area.

Admission: The professors are really knowledgeable and helpful. Some like theory more, but most think practical stuff is important. The course covers both theory and practical skills. The exams are a bit tough, but you just need 60% to pass.

Placement: Around half of the students get jobs every year. The pay can go from 2.2 LPA to 9 LPA, with an average around 5-6 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro hire here. But there are no internships on campus. They offer roles like software developer, tester, and quality engineer.

Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus is there, but they don't give us the password. The computer labs are kinda outdated and the computers are super slow. The classrooms are cool though, they got air conditioning, comfy chairs, projectors, and screens. The library is small, but it's got a good bunch of books. No hostel on campus, but there's lots of hostels and PGs nearby. And no canteen, so gotta find food elsewhere. Sports and games are set up by different clubs.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. They teach us about automata theory, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The course is up-to-date and well-rounded. Plus, exams are always on schedule. It's great!

Placement: About half of the students in our college got jobs after graduating. How many students get placed really comes down to how good they are at what they do. Having good communication skills is key to landing a job after college.

Campus: The classrooms and labs are in good shape. The Wi-Fi works fine. The food in the canteen is what students want. Everything is okay here.

Admission: I really like the teachers here. Most of them are awesome, but a few are not so great. They seem to just be passing the time. Some students aren't fans, but I personally respect all of them. The exams are based on CBCS, and we get to choose our own subjects. We can pick what we want to study from the options available. Exams are held every month, which keeps us on our toes.

Placement: Placements for MCA and MBA are pretty good here. I'm in my first year, so I don't know much about stipends and internships yet, but I've heard the placements are solid. Overall, the placements are top-notch, especially in Jharkhand.

Campus: The college doesn't have hostel facilities, so we have to find our own place in Ranchi city. They don't give us food or lodging. But it's okay, we're happy. We pay rent and cook our own food or hire a cook.

Admission: The teachers at BIT are super helpful and really know their stuff. They prepare us well for the industry and make sure we're fully trained. The semester exams are taken seriously, and everyone passes because the teaching is so clear in class. It's a great place to learn!

Placement: In my batch, about 40% of us got placed. The highest package was 8Lpa and the lowest was 4Lpa. On average, most of us got around 6Lpa. Aditya Birla and Bandhan Bank were the top companies that hired students. Around half of us got internships. The popular role was Business Development Associate.

Campus: The Wi-Fi wasn't working, but the labs were clean and neat. Classrooms were cool with AC, and the library was great. The hostel food was good, and the mess was clean with fresh food. They had sports facilities and organized different events at the college.

Admission: The teachers at BIT are awesome! They're super helpful, whether it's about college stuff or personal things. They know a lot about the subjects they teach. The curriculum is great and prepares you well for the industry. You just need 40% to pass each semester.

Placement: Last year at BIT Lalpur, about 75% of students got placed. The lowest offer was around 3.5 lakhs, while the highest was around 13 lakhs for BBA. Companies like TCS, Birla, and HDFC Bank hired many students with good pay. HDFC offered the highest salary.

Campus: BIT Lalpur doesn't have a big campus or good hostels, so don't expect that. The campus is small, with just classrooms and parking. There's no extra space.

Admission: The course content was okay but not enough to prepare us for the real world. We had 2 big exams  one in the middle of the semester and one at the end. Plus, we had 2 quizzes each semester.

Placement: The college didn't have great job opportunities on campus. The highest salary offered off-campus was 3.3 LPA for our batch. The faculty supported us during off-campus interviews. About 50 students out of 200 got jobs from our college.

Campus: Our college was being renovated when I was there. Since it was just an extension center, there wasn't a hostel. We didn't have a mess, canteen, or sports facilities on campus. We had to handle these things ourselves.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and are always ready to help. The course material is spot-on, but the end-of-semester exams can be tough. They're definitely harder than the mid-semester quizzes. Just a heads up, you need at least a 33% to pass each exam.

Placement: Only a few students out of 250 get placements. The college doesn't have any big companies offering internships. Not everyone can participate in campus placements, only a small number can. The average salary is pretty low at 3.26 LPA.

Campus: The college doesn't have much to offer in terms of infrastructure. It feels more like a coaching center without any hostels or proper facilities. There's no food court, auditorium, or even a decent medical room. Plus, there's no ground for sports activities.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff  most of them have Ph.D.s. They keep the course material fresh and up-to-date. Plus, they do a great job teaching. The exams each semester were a breeze.

Placement: Around 20-30% of students in our college got jobs. The highest salary was 2 LPA and the lowest was 1.5 LPA. Companies like TCS and Wipro came for placements. There weren't any internships available. The main job offered was trainee engineer.

Campus: The college had classrooms, labs, and libraries. But there wasn't any hostel or mess available on campus. Students had to find rooms or stay in a hostel nearby.

Admission: The teachers at BIT Noida are really helpful and supportive. Most of them have PhDs. They know their stuff and have lots of experience. The semester exams are not too hard or too easy  it's all about how much you pay attention in class. Almost everyone passes the exams, around 95%.

Placement: Around 30% of us got jobs after college. In our group of 34 students, 15 got placed on campus. The highest salary offered was 36 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Companies like Cognizant, Amdocs, and Infosys came to hire us. Some of us also got internships at places like Cognizant and Amdocs.

Campus: The college has lots of labs, classrooms, and a big library. It's a good place to study. You can chill and study at the library. Unfortunately, there are no hostels on campus. You'll need to find a hostel or PG nearby, but there are plenty around the college.
