Admission: The course at Jharkhand University of Technology is really helpful for placements. Exams are held every month, but if you study for 1 to 2 hours daily, passing is easy. The professors are well-qualified with Ph.Ds from top institutes.
Placement: The college doesn't have many placement options like other colleges in Jharkhand. Only a few companies visit our campus. But if you're skilled, you can still get good job offers on and off campus. Lately, the college teamed up with Techno India in Kolkata, which is boosting our placement rates.
Campus: The teachers here are really great and always ready to help. College life is average, nothing too amazing or terrible. They've upgraded the classrooms to make them smarter, and there's a library where we can borrow books for a whole year. The hostel is decent and clean, but the food is way too greasy and not very healthy.

Admission: The teachers mainly focus on preparing us for the GATE exam. They don't give much help with placements, though. The semester exams are doable and not too tough. Just studying previous year questions and key topics is usually enough to pass. The multiple-choice questions worth 14 marks each are really helpful for passing exams.
Placement: Around 10-15 students haven't found jobs yet, but everyone else has. The highest salary was 12 LPA at TATA Steel, the lowest was 3.3 LPA at TCS Ninja, and the average was 6.5 LPA. TCS, Hitachi, and Yamaha were the top companies hiring students.
Campus: The classrooms aren't huge, but they can fit around 50 students comfortably. They have different types of boards like SMART boards, whiteboards, and green boards. The Wi-Fi in the department isn't always working. The library is pretty spacious and has a lot of resources.

Admission: The teachers are nice and helpful, but the teaching quality could be better. Most of the faculty have Ph.D. degrees, and some even ranked in GATE. The semester exams aren't too hard; just study the previous years' questions, and you'll pass easily.
Placement: Around half of us in our branch have job offers already. The highest package was from TATA Steel, and the lowest was from TCS Ninja. Most of us got around 7 LPA. Companies like TCS, Hitachi, Yamaha, Cognizant, and Capgemini hire a lot of students from here.
Campus: Our library is big and has all the study stuff we need. Classrooms fit around 40-50 students easily. We gotta set up our own Wi-Fi 'cause the college doesn't have it. The old hostels need better upkeep.

Admission: In my course, the professors are super helpful and teach really well. Most of them have master's or Ph.D. degrees. They take studying and attendance seriously. The professors mainly prepare us for GATE exams.
Placement: From our course, 30 out of 51 students got placed. Over 10 students passed the GATE exams and 8 got ranks under 100. The highest package at 16.5 LPA was offered by Vedanta. Other companies like ABG, JSW, JPL, and L&T also hire students from our college.
Campus: The college is pretty old, so the buildings are a bit outdated. But the facilities are decent. The food in the mess halls can be hit or miss depending on which hostel you're in. It's okay overall. They have a library where you can borrow books using a library card, and there's no charge for it.

Admission: The professors here are super helpful and know their stuff. They use a mix of PowerPoint and whiteboard teaching which is cool. The stuff we learn is actually useful and matches what's going on in the industry right now. It's great for getting us ready for jobs. The exams can be a bit tough but most people pass with over 80%.
Placement: I studied Mining Engineering at BIT Sindri. The placement rate was pretty good, around 65-75%. Vedanta Resources offered the highest package at 16.5 LPA. The average package was around 8 LPA. Companies like Adani, JSW, L&T, Vedanta, and Aditya Birla Group recruited students.
Campus: The Mining Department's infrastructure is pretty old-fashioned. The lab has some new stuff, but most of it is old and doesn't work well. The whole institute is old, even the hostels. But they're building new hostels - one is open now, and two more are coming this year. The food in the mess is okay, medical help is not great, and there aren't good sports facilities.

Placement: I'm in the Mining Engineering program at BIT Sindri. The placement rate is pretty good, around 6575%. The highest-paying job is from Vedanta Resources, offering 16.5 LPA. On average, most students get around 8 LPA. Some top companies that come for placements are Adani, JSW, L&T, Vedanta, and the Aditya Birla Group.

Admission: The professors are really nice and know their stuff. They've taught for a while, but sometimes it's hard to follow what they're saying. The courses follow the National Education Policy and help us connect with real-world jobs. We even get a 2-month break to do hands-on training in different companies. The exams are not too hard, with 35 marks needed to pass. Most students, about 85%, pass with no problem.
Placement: I'm in the batch of 2021-2025 and for Electrical Engineering, about 60% of us already have jobs. Overall, 70% of students in our college have placements. The lowest salary offered is 3.8 LPA by TCS Digital, while the highest is 13 LPA by ITC. The average salary is around 6.5 LPA. Companies like Tata Steel, ITC, Reliance Industries, and Jindal Power Limited hire a lot of students. Some of us also got internships at places like ITC, Tata Steel, Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure, and Reliance. Most of us end up as graduate engineer trainees in core sectors.
Campus: The infrastructure at BIT Sindri is not that great. Wi-Fi is only in the admin building and CSE department. Labs have machines that often don't work well. The library is small and not very comfy. Hostels haven't changed in 60 years with no Wi-Fi or cameras. Food in the mess isn't good. There's a clinic on campus for medical needs.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff and are qualified, but they're pretty strict. The semester exams aren't too hard. You can pass by practicing old questions and focusing on key topics. If you study for 4-5 days before, you can get good grades without a problem.
Placement: The placements for my course are really good. Our college offers some of the best placement opportunities. Every year, around 85-95% of students from my course get placed. The highest salary offered was around 16 LPA by Vedanta, while the lowest was 3.3 LPA by TCS Ninja. On average, students get around 7.5 LPA. Some of the top companies that hire from our college are Reliance, ABG, L&T, and Tata Steel.
Campus: The departments are in an old building that really needs some fixing up. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi provided, so we have to use our own data. The library is massive with lots of books and resources. They even have a digital library and Wi-Fi support there.

Admission: The teachers are really good here. Most of them have Ph.Ds, and some even passed the GATE. Mr. Tiary and Mr. Verma are super helpful, but some teachers can be a bit tough. The semester exams are manageable, not too hard.
Placement: Most of us in our course have already got jobs, which is pretty cool. But there are still some companies left to hire, like Dalmia and Wonder. The pay packages vary, with the highest being 12 LPA, the lowest 3.3 LPA, and the average around 6.7 LPA. The companies that hire the most are TCS, Hitachi, Yamaha, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Reliance.
Campus: In our college, students in the 2nd, 3rd, and final years have separate classrooms for lectures. First-year students have lectures in the Lecture Hall Complex. Unfortunately, the college doesn't provide Wi-Fi. The lab equipment is limited, so we often have to work in groups of 7-8 for experiments.
