Admission: The teachers at CIPET are really good at their job and can guide you well for your future. The college doesn't have enough teachers, so they bring in guest lecturers, but they may not have all the expert info. The course is useful, but checking out new articles and studies can help you stay updated on the latest tech stuff. As long as you keep learning and improving, the exams are pretty manageable.

Placement: When it comes to getting a job, the main areas we study are research, design, making stuff, and selling it. Around 60 to 70 students graduate in plastic tech every year, so there's not too much competition. You have a good chance of getting a job in the main industry. This course is all about hands-on learning, so having skills is what really matters for getting a good salary. CIPET is all about the industry, so we get a lot of practical experience before going out for internships.

Campus: CIPET has a cool location and a green campus, but most of the buildings are pretty old since the college is almost 50 years old. The bathrooms in the academic block need some serious maintenance. Lights are missing, doors don't close properly, and as you go up in floors, things get worse. Classrooms have broken chairs and tables, and the projectors are not great. Only the core labs are well-kept with skilled staff. The library has limited books, mostly for core subjects. The canteen doesn't offer much variety and the food is cheap but not great.

Admission: Getting through exams here is a challenge because the syllabus is super tricky. There are tons of books to read and study, so it takes a lot of time to get ready. The teachers don't have much time to help, so you gotta be ready to study on your own.

Placement: I'm a junior engineer studying here. I've seen a lot of companies coming to recruit students like me - companies from abroad too. The highest salary offered to freshers was 10 LPA by Rather Energy in Bangalore. And guess what? Asian Paints even recruits us as brand ambassadors during our course. It's pretty cool to have these opportunities!

Campus: The food is hit or miss here. It's mostly average, but sometimes it's really good. You can ask the college to switch things up if you want. The menu has a good variety, including snacks. Living in the hostel is okay just remember, no TVs or other electronics allowed. It can get stuffy in the summer without good ventilation.

Admission: The college is part of Anna University and offers B.Tech in Plastics Technology and B.E. in Manufacturing Engineering. The teachers are awesome and really supportive during exams. They know their stuff and have lots of experience. It's a 4-year course where you can learn a lot about the industry. The semester exams are not too hard as long as you study well. If you put in the effort, you'll pass with flying colors.

Placement: Most students got good job offers after graduating. The highest package was 15 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Both B.Tech in Plastics Technology and B.E. in Manufacturing Engineering students got these offers. Reliance hired students for these roles. Everyone got internships, and many students got jobs in design and production.

Campus: The library at CIPET IPT Chennai is pretty good. The infrastructure is okay, but the campus is smaller than other colleges. Unfortunately, there's no playground, but students who like sports can still play games.

Admission: The teachers here are super nice and friendly. They all have doctorates and Ph.D.s, so they know their stuff. The staff have lots of experience in both real-world and theoretical stuff. We take exams by Anna University, and most of us pass with about 90%. It's a great place to learn about machines from people who really know their stuff!

Placement: Most students get placed every year, which is awesome. The starting salary is around 3 LPA and can go up to 5 LPA. Big companies like Dow Chemicals, HFCL, and L & T hire a lot of students. CLRI hooks us up with internships, which is super helpful. After graduation, you might land a job as a quality controller, supervisor, or marketing analyst.

Campus: The college I go to has awesome facilities like elevators and good ventilation. They give us clean drinking water, nice bathrooms, and tasty food that doesn't cost too much. We even have a health center on campus. Plus, there's a cool digital library, high-tech classes, and labs with all the latest stuff. They also have workshops and production happening right here on campus.

Admission: The teachers were really helpful. They cleared all our doubts and even taught us extra stuff outside the regular syllabus. Their way of teaching was great. The plastic technology course was super useful for landing jobs in plastic companies. The exams were a breeze. The faculty members were friendly and knew their stuff well. They taught us in a nice and easy-to-understand manner. It was obvious they had a lot of experience in their field.

Placement: All of us in my class got jobs in good companies. The highest salary was 8 LPA, the lowest was 4.5 LPA, and the average was around 6 LPA. Companies like L&T, Valeo, and KINGFA hired us. Everyone in my class also got internships in different companies. We were offered roles like Design Engineer and Material Engineer.

Campus: The Labs had all the polymer equipment we needed, which helped us learn hands-on. The hostel had nice rooms and bathrooms, but the food was just okay.

I'm studying manufacturing engineering, which is very practical and prepares us well for the industry. Passing requires just 50%, and the exams aren't too hard. You can easily study on your own and get ready in just 15 days before the exams.

Placement: If you don't owe money and pass with at least 70%, you'll get a job. In my department, the highest salary is 5LPA and the lowest is 2.8 LPA. Big companies like ITW, Reliance, Besmark, Fanuc, and L&T hire students. Students with a CGPA over 7 and no arrears are interning at Valeo. Jobs here are mostly in marketing, design, production, and supervision.

Campus: The classrooms and library are nice places to study. But the lab equipment doesn't always work properly. Most teachers have M.Tech degrees, and some are from testing and research centers. Some teachers are on contract, and we also have guest teachers sometimes.

In the beginning, you start with the basics of engineering and then move on to the important stuff. Our semester exams are held by Anna University since we're affiliated with them. To pass, you need a CGPA between 7 and 7.5, which is not too hard to achieve if you put in the effort.
