NTA has confirmed that JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will be held from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The registration for Session 2 will open after the completion of Session 1 results on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

1 Nov, 2025 : NTA JEE Main 2026 Registration has started. The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the registration process on October 31, 2025, through the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.

The NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam dates. Session 1 will be held from January 21 to January 30, 2026.

Facility	Details
Hostels	CIT Kokrajhar offers separate hostels for boys & girls. Currently ~12 boys hostels, 4 girls hostels (with some outside campus/rented houses). Capacity ~346 boys and ~157 girls. Additional hostels under construction.
Library	Central library building (~22,000 sq ft), automated with RFID, self-issue & return, ~111,545 physical books, extensive e-resources (E-books, journals, e-magazines etc.), separate teacher study room, digital library, Android app, Web OPAC, CCTV surveillance, UPS backup.
Transport	Institute operates 4 buses between hostels in town and campus. Also used for industrial/training/lab trips etc.
IT & Network Infrastructure	Wired & wireless LAN, NKN (1 Gbps) connectivity, multiple computer centres with ~250+ nodes, internet in hostels, academic blocks etc. Virtual classrooms & seminar halls.
Classrooms / Laboratories / Workshops	Well-equipped labs in all departments for diploma, UG, PG levels. Workshops, departmental labs, virtual classrooms for interactive learning.
Cafeteria / Mess	Two canteens inside campus. Central canteen + another run by a women’s self-help group. Homely food. Mess in hostels.
Medical / Health Centre	Health centre available on campus with a medical officer & nurse. An ambulance is available 24×7 for emergencies.
Sports & Gym	Sports facilities (indoor & outdoor), gym available. Playgrounds. Encouragement for games & recreation.
Guest House & Quarters	Guest house for visitors, faculty & staff quarters provided on campus.
Conference / Seminar Halls / Auditorium	Seminar halls, auditorium for events, workshops. Conference room in library.
Power Backup & Safety	UPS backup in library; surveillance CCTV; security in hostels; anti-theft gates for library.
