Central University of Tamil Nadu offers various programs at different levels. For the B.Sc. (Hons./Research), BA (Hons./Research) programs, candidates must have passed a 10+2 program with at least 60% marks and appeared for CUET UG. For the integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. Mathematics program, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with PCM and appeared for NCET. For the M.Sc., M.Com, and MA programs, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream is required, along with a valid score in CUET PG. For the MA (Mass Communication) and MBA programs, completion of a bachelor’s degree is required, with at least 55% and a valid CUET PG score. For a Ph.D program, candidates must have passed a master’s degree in a relevant stream and appeared for either the institute’s own entrance test or UGC-CSIR-JRF or UGC-JRF. For the PG Diploma program, applicants must have passed a bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks and appeared for the university’s entrance test.

Central University of Tamil Nadu admission to its various programs is based on entrance exams. For admission to B.Sc. (Hons./Research), BA (Hons./Research), admission is based on CUET UG scores. A valid score in NCET is required for Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. Mathematics program. For M.Sc., M.Com., MA (Mass Communication), MBA, the university accepts CUET PG scores.
