Admission: CU�s admission process was a positive experience. Online registration worked well, and document verification during counselling was handled with ease. Communication about merit lists and orientation was always timely.

Academic: Exams in this college are easy if you study properly. Students mainly fail because they don�t study at all. Just studying for 2 to 4 days before exams is enough to get good marks. As engineering students, we can manage the whole syllabus even in one night sometimes.

Placement: Till now, for placements here, only two companies have come so far. Adobe was one of them; they have an online assessment first, then a one-on-one interview. You need to prepare properly if you want to get selected for them. There was also another company for MBA-type jobs, so you should apply based on what fits you best. Mostly though, companies usually come in the 6th and 7th semester, so everyone should be prepared by then.

Campus: I stay in the Zakir AC hostel. Privacy is difficult here because four people share one room. For newcomers it feels exciting, but later during placement season, you really need quiet space. The food tastes okay in the beginning, but after some time, you start disliking it.

Admission: Completing my admission at Chandigarh University went smoothly. The registration portal was easy, the CUCET merit list came on time, and counselling was arranged properly. Staff at document verification were helpful throughout.

Academic: At CU, our teachers are really knowledgeable and approachable. Many have prior company experience or research backgrounds. The curriculum is updated to match industry needs. Exams are fair, not too easy or too hard. More than 85% of students pass their exams here.

Placement: Being from the B.Tech CSE 2024 batch, I can say our placements were quite good. Around 80�85% of students from our batch got placed. The highest salary someone got was 54 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. On average, most students got between 6 to 7 LPA. Big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, and Infosys came for hiring. Also, many of us, like 70%, got internships with companies like Capgemini, Cognizant, and even some startups. We got roles like SDE Analyst and web developers during our internships.

Campus: The CU campus is extremely modern, with Wi-Fi everywhere. We have digital classrooms, advanced labs, and a huge library. The hostels are kept very clean, with laundry and 24/7 security. Mess food is genuinely good and there are many options. The sports and medical facilities are also excellent.

Admission: Joining Chandigarh University felt straightforward. The admission team guided me properly from online registration to final fee submission. Document verification on campus was systematic, though a bit crowded. The orientation session helped clear early doubts.

Academic: At Chandigarh University, most of our teachers are super helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many even left their company jobs to teach here. Their teaching style is mostly good, though a few read directly from presentations. The curriculum is great for industry preparation. Before exams, they send important questions to our official email. End semester exams are moderate, neither too easy nor too hard. We don't get percentage marks; our result depends on relative grading.

Placement: Generally, our CSE-General course has three types of batches: TPP, Kargil, and Non-TPP. Students from the TPP and Kargil batches usually get good placements, with around 80�90% getting job offers. But for Non-TPP students, placements are not there. The highest salary package someone got internationally was around 1.5 or 1.6 CPA, and for jobs in India, the highest was 60 LPA. On average, students get packages between 4 to 8 LPA, and the lowest goes from 2.2 to 4 LPA. Big companies like Microsoft, IBM, Infosys, and Adobe hire from here. Almost everyone gets an internship, some with big names like Microsoft, Amazon, and Infosys, and others with smaller startups. The jobs offered are mostly in IT, like software engineers and data analysts.

Campus: In my college, the outside looks pretty nice, but only the South campus is actually very good from the inside. The other blocks are just okay. Some rooms have leaking ACs, and a few projectors don�t work properly. There is Wi-Fi in almost all blocks for students and teachers, which helps. The labs are built well, but the internet sometimes struggles during exams. The libraries are great and have more books than our syllabus needs. Hostel fees are a bit high but include medical, sports, and canteen facilities, with some strict rules too.

The DCPD classes are very useful for students applying for jobs, offering aptitude and soft skill training. Though these DCPD classes cost an additional Rs. 12,000, they prove to be really helpful.

Campus: The hostels here have very fast internet, almost 200 Mbps. The South Block library is highly modern. Third-year students get multipurpose labs, and AC is available on the ground floors of all blocks.

If you get lucky, you might find some really good teachers, but there are also many who are not. Basically, it depends on luck which professor you get.

Placement: Honestly, talking about jobs here feels a bit mixed. If you're lucky enough to be in a good batch like the Kargil one, then you get some really high placement offers, even up to 30 LPA. For example, this semester Adobe offered 31 LPA to someone from that batch. But if you're not in such a batch, the job chances are not so great. Even if you're a decent student, you'll probably get packages like 11�12 LPA. Otherwise, for most people, it's usually just 2�3 LPA.

Campus: From what I have seen, the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are quite good at our college. Wi-Fi sometimes has problems, but for most of the time, the speed is fine. The labs are great, even though some computers there are a bit old. Our library has tons of books and it�s easy for every student to use it. Generally, all the other facilities are also really good.

Placement: In my branch, nearly 90% of the students get placed, which is pretty good. The average salary package is typically around 5 to 6 LPA here. We get some big companies visiting our campus for placements, like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Deloitte, Flipkart, and Bank of America. Honestly, the competition isn�t too tough because the general quality of students sometimes feels a bit lower.

Campus: Here at the college, most facilities are provided, which helps with studying. All classrooms and labs have AC. The library stays open till 10 PM, so late-night studying is possible. Some lab computers are old, but they are slowly being upgraded.

Admission: Getting admission into CU was a hassle-free experience. The portal was easy to navigate, and staff guided well during document verification. The counselling session cleared all my queries. From the application stage to orientation, everything was handled efficiently.

Academic: Teaching here is quite good, with teachers who are helpful and know their subjects well. They use the LMS content and PPTs during classes. Marking can be strict, and 75% attendance is compulsory. Usually, around 80% to 85% of students pass their exams.

Placement: Last year, for placements here, a lot of companies visited our campus. Nearly 350 companies came just for the CSE branch students. The highest salary package someone got was 1 crore per year for an international job, and for jobs in India, it was 55 lakh per year. The lowest package offered was 3 lakh per year. Students can also start their internships from the 5th semester.

Campus: My hostel here is really good and very clean. We get 4-seater rooms with beds, tables, and chairs for everyone. There are attached washrooms, AC, and proper water and electricity. The total fee is Rs. 92000. The mess food is average, but you get to enjoy a lot of events and sports like basketball, badminton, and swimming. All classrooms also have projectors.

Campus: What stands out in our college is how well the entire campus is maintained. The buildings are nicely designed and classrooms have modern 4.0 teaching tech. Wi-Fi is available in all classes and halls. The hostel provides fresh food, gym, and Wi-Fi. The whole place spreads across 20 acres.

Admission: Receiving admission at Chandigarh University through CUCET and counselling felt well-organized. Document verification was managed by supportive staff. Registration and the admission letter came quickly. Every step until fee submission felt clear and efficient.

Academic: Our college has very helpful teachers who are available even after classes. They take extra help sessions for students who are struggling or want to improve. Placement: Overall, talking about placements, they are really good here for both on-campus and off-campus jobs. Our college actually has an awesome 97% placement rate. We also get to see direct reports of all the on-campus placements using our university management system, which is helpful. The salary packages range from 3 lakhs per year up to a huge 50 lakhs per year. To grab a good package, having a good CGPA and strong skills is super important.

Campus: At this university, the food is really good and healthy, so you don�t fall sick easily. It also tastes nice. Hostels and mess seats can be taken during admission itself. There are many clubs�sports, tech, dance, literature, music, and more�so students always find something they enjoy.

Admission: Seeing my CUCET score and moving through the admission steps at CU felt efficient. The portal was user-friendly, and counselling was organized clearly. Document verification staff helped with doubts, and fee payment was simple.

Academic: What stands out for me is the curriculum, which is great. Faculty members are mostly excellent and very supportive, though a few may not be. We also get extra classes when needed. For example, our 4th-year seniors who got placements are currently teaching us DSA in evening classes.

Placement: Seniors here are doing really well when it comes to jobs. Their fourth year is just starting and many of them already got placed in big companies with good salary offers. So overall, placements here are quite good. But you gotta be dedicated to your studies and also work on your skills. If you do that, getting a job won�t be a big headache. There�s also one main rule for placements: you need at least a 7 CGPA to even try for them.

Campus: Our college infrastructure is very good and gives you a great college life. The hostels are also nice, but the mess food is not very good, which is normal in most colleges. Overall, the place is worth it.
