Admission: The teachers here are like scientists because it's all about research and learning. They teach really well. We get to learn in a modern way, like through video calls. Doing practical stuff is a big deal here, which is cool for learning.

Placement: You'll mostly see job opportunities in the state fisheries department after studying here. They pick scientists for the job once or twice a year. You could also become an assistant professor at state or central institutions. Some students even get hired as agriculture experts in the banking sector.

Campus: The library here is amazing! The lab is super useful and well-equipped. The classrooms are beautiful. The canteen isn't huge, but they have good snacks at cheap prices. The hostel has washing machines, indoor playgrounds, and lots of other stuff. Overall, the campus is pretty awesome.

Admission: The teachers at CIFE are really good. They are experts in their field, so you know they know what they're talking about. They use PowerPoints to teach us, which makes it easier to understand. We also have practical classes to help us learn better. The curriculum includes visits to real working areas, which is cool. Because Fisheries Science is technical, we learn both theory and practical stuff. It's a great course!

Placement: Many students at CIFE aim to do a Ph.D., but there are also great opportunities for early job placements. Companies like Godrej and Avanti come for interviews every year and hire students for roles like marketing supervisor and R&D. CIFE has a good reputation, so landing a job is easier. If you want a government job, you can take a test to become an Agriculture Research Scientist. Some students from my batch got these jobs, while others joined companies like Godrej. The strong job prospects at CIFE are attracting more students to the fisheries sector.

Campus: CIFE has awesome facilities for us students. The Wi-Fi is free all around campus, so we can easily look up scientific stuff for our research. The labs have top-notch equipment for us to do accurate research. Plus, we get medical insurance. The sports facilities are great too, with an indoor stadium and outdoor sports area. The hostel is comfy, with broadband, a cool student-run canteen, washing machines on every floor, and a common room with a TV for news. The whole place is fancy, letting us just focus on studying and doing great research.
