The university is already working on updating the curriculum to match what's happening in the real world. It's starting to make a difference and show some improvement.

Placement: Most of us got good placements. Salaries ranged from Rs. 20,000 to 40,000 monthly. Toshiba and Reliance Petrochemical recruited the most from our course. Top roles were marketing executive and engineering executive. Salaries ranged from 3 LPA to 5.5 LPA. We also had internships at companies like Indian Oil, Rourkela Steel Plant, and Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.

Campus: The hostel and library got a nice upgrade recently. The classrooms are cool, with plenty of machines in the tool room and plastic processing area for hands-on learning. The testing department is helpful for learning about different testing methods.

Sometimes we get guest speakers who make learning fun with activities. The midterms are not too tough, but you gotta put in some effort for the finals. A few students have one subject to catch up on. Teachers and students are connected well. The labs are good with everything you need. The library is great, plus there's a digital one too. Hostel is top-notch with awesome bathrooms and clean toilets. The food in the mess is pretty good, I'd give it a 4 out of 5. The price is fair and they try to keep things interesting. There's a small area for cricket, badminton, and table tennis, but no big field.

It was a really nice college in Orissa. I could see that it was the best engineering college in the area. I recommend it to anyone interested in plastic technology. They organized sports events regularly, with both students and faculty taking part. Many students worked hard for their future here.
