Admission: The teachers really know their stuff and the curriculum is always updated to match what the industry needs. It's a tough place since it's an autonomous institute. The pass rate is around 75%. The questions really make you think hard and go beyond the basics.

Placement: Most students who are eligible get placed every year, almost 95%. The highest package is about 12 LPA, while the average is around 5 LPA. Top companies like Tata Elxsi and Robert Bosch come for recruitment. Most students start as trainees. Internship opportunities depend on how well you know your stuff.

Campus: The college has good facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms. The library is nice too. They give free Wi-Fi to all students. Only downside is that the classrooms are too small. Hostel food is not great and the canteen is tiny. But they do have medical services and sports facilities that are pretty good.

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff and they're really nice and helpful. Classes are online right now because of Covid. They run from 9 to 5 with breaks every hour. Exams happen every five months, with two mid-semester tests. Grades come from assignments and mid-terms. They use absolute grading. There are around 55 students in each class. Tuition costs INR 134000 a year.

Placement: Once you finish Semester 4, you can apply for jobs. Big companies like ONGC and Asian Paints come for placements. The college has a good 80-90% placement rate. Salaries range from 3 to 10 LPA. I hope to work at Asian Paints after I graduate.

Campus: The hostels here have single rooms for everyone, so no sharing! We get to make our own diet plan, which is cool. The food is pretty good, and the mess fee is around 2400-3000 per month. There are security guards at the main gate and around the hostel campus. The library is open 24/7 for guys, but girls' hostel closes at 8:00 PM for some reason. Hostel fee is 14000 bucks a year.

Placement: Starting from the 5th semester, we could go for campus placements. I got placed in TATA ELXSI, which is awesome. Loads of cool companies came to our college like Wipro, Soliton, Econ, TCS, Amazon, Cognizant, and more. It was great to have so many options for placements.

Campus: At CIT, there are tons of clubs to join like Rotaract, Nature Club, Literary Club, and more. The extracurricular activities are awesome, with daily sports practice for football, volleyball, cricket, and other sports. The classrooms have good facilities to help us learn better. Admission: The teachers are awesome! They explain things well and are super friendly. The department head is really cool too. We get to learn a lot from tech talks and meetings. It helps us understand real-world projects better. Exams are challenging, so we have to study hard from different books. Our department has a high pass rate of around 90%.

Placement: I've seen my senior department mates getting good job offers. The highest package is around 62 lakhs per year. Companies in our field are hiring a lot. Some of the top ones include DeeShaw, Wipro, HCS, Effitrac, and more. Our college helps us with placement training starting from the first year. So, we don't have to stress about getting a job. It's pretty reassuring.

Campus: The buildings may be old, but the stuff inside is great. Our college's hostel food is top-notch compared to others. They switch up the menu regularly. The internet is fast if you use an ethernet cable. The library has Wi-Fi too. The labs are nice and make it easy for us to get our work done.

Admission: The department has 11 faculty members, mostly male. They are qualified in Civil or Construction management. Some of them have experience in construction too. The course has a good balance of practicals and theory. The semester exams are tough, but over 80% of students passed in our batch.

Placement: This college in Coimbatore is great for Construction Management. Big companies like L&T, M Moser, Adani Infra, etc. come for on-campus placements. Lots of students land packages above 4.5LPA. Once you get selected, there's a 6-month trainee period before you get a permanent job. They offer roles like junior project coordinator and assistant construction manager. It's a good place to kickstart your career in construction.

Campus: The campus buildings are kinda old, and construction was happening in some places. Equipment in the labs didn't always work. But the library is huge and has all the academic books. There's Wi-Fi too. Hostel rooms don't have fans, so I had to bring my own. They should offer basic stuff at least. The food in the mess was okay. But the college doesn't have any medical facilities.
