Admission: The teachers are nice, but not super strict. You have to put in effort to learn. The lessons teach you what you need to know for a job. Exams are not too tough. A couple nights of studying can get you through. If you want to pick up business skills, online resources are key. About two-thirds of students pass their exams.

Placement: At our college, most students get jobs after graduation. The highest salary is around 28 lakhs per year, while the lowest is around 11 lakhs. On average, students make about 19 lakhs a year. Companies like Penguin, CNN, and BBC come to hire us. It's not easy to find internships, but some students do. The popular job titles are historian, researcher, and more.

Campus: The college I go to has awesome infrastructure. It's surrounded by mountains and there's a river nearby, making it look even cooler. They've got water purifiers, coolers, and CCTV cameras in all classrooms. The campus libraries are great for studying. Plus, we have free 5G Wi-Fi everywhere. But there aren't as many sports as I'd like. The canteen isn't that great, and the food is pretty awful.

Campus: The campus Wi-Fi was slow, so it was hard to stay connected sometimes. The restrooms weren't well-maintained, and there weren't enough of them. The software labs needed some upgrades. The classrooms were just okay. I liked the bus transportation, dining choices, and the garden on campus.

Admission: The HIMT teachers really know their stuff when it comes to sailing. They not only teach us the basics but also share their own sailing stories. They talk about handling emergencies, fixing problems, and staying tough on the ship. It's cool to learn from their real-life experiences!

Placement: I'm really happy with the placement scenario at my college. Around half of my batch got placed, and the rest are in line for upcoming interviews. The salary package depends on which company hires us. Some of the companies that come for recruitment are Marshall Ship Management, Zodiac, M.Sc. Damico, Seven Islands, and Maersk Line.

Campus: The hostel is really nice and clean. They clean the bathrooms every day, which is great. I like that they have a small football ground, and courts for volleyball and badminton. The food in the mess is good too.

The faculty members are talented and the quality of teaching is top-notch. They make sure all our doubts are cleared up. The course is definitely relevant and prepares us well for the industry. The exams are tough, but if you put in 1-2 hours of study every day, you can manage to pass easily. The pass rate is around 50%.

The top companies that recruited here were Damico, M.Sc., Marshal, Zodiac, Berge Bulk, and Seven Island. Damico hired 3 students, M.Sc. hired 1, Marshal hired 4, and Zodiac hired 3 students.

Campus: The campus has great facilities and infrastructure. The classrooms are nice, with smart touch screen boards, air-conditioning, and good Wi-Fi. The library is good with all the books you need. The labs like BSW, AMW, Electrical, Instrumentation, VR, and SIC are also good. The food at Galley and Canteen is of good quality. Medical facilities are also good. And for sports and games, they have good facilities too.
