Admission: The teachers here are really experienced. They used to be captains in the navy. The study stuff they give us fits what we need for jobs. The exams are okay, not too hard. About half the students pass.

Placement: I went to the International Maritime Institute, which is connected to the Indian Maritime University in Chennai. They provide training for DNS students before they go to sea. Everyone there seems to get a job because the placement rate is super high it's 100%! Most students, like 98%, are already sponsored by big shipping companies like D'amico, feet management, wallem shipping, M.Sc. PIL, and MMSI. After training, we get hired as deck cadets for about 18 months of sea training.

Campus: The facilities for our course are awesome. There's an aviation lab, bridge simulator, seamanship lab, and even a real ship on campus (a replica). It's cool to get hands-on experience. The hostel is nice too, with fast Wi-Fi at 200 Mbps. It can fit around 250 students. The rooms have comfy beds and closets. The food is tasty, made by skilled chefs. They serve veg and non-veg meals in the mess that can seat 200 people.

Admission: The teachers here were really experienced and helpful. They were always there to help with any questions. They knew their stuff and had good qualifications. We had exams every month and they helped us with job training too. The professors were supportive and had lots of knowledge. They also gave good advice for careers and mental health.

Placement: I'm happy to say that many students in my college got placed recently. Companies like Zodiac, M.Sc, d‚¬â„¢Amico Shipping, and Marshal Shipping came for placements. The starting package offered was around $450. The placement drive at our college was well-organized and successful.

Campus: The labs had cool stuff for practical learning. Our classrooms were nice with smart boards and comfy seats. We got yummy meals at the mess and snacks at the canteen. There were doctors and nurses on campus, and sometimes they could send us to the hospital if needed. We had lots of sports options like fields, gyms, and equipment for indoor and outdoor games.

Admission: The tutors here really know their stuff and they're super nice. They explain things in a way that makes sense. We get lots of practice to help us get ready for real-world work. The semester tests are tough, and the teachers are really strict. My department is one of the best, but they can be pretty tough too.

Placement: Most students here get good jobs after graduation. The salary packages usually range from 10 to 22 LPA, but the highest one was around 35 LPA. Companies like Morgan Stanley, Canara Bank, and Mercer hire a lot of students from here. Many students also do internships here. The popular jobs after graduation are in banking and finance, like investment banker and portfolio manager.

Campus: The campus has great facilities like hostels and classrooms. You can find lots of equipment like engines on the shipping campus. The library has publications from foreign writers, and we use projectors in class for movies. Everything works well here!

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff well. They help us understand everything easily. The semester tests are tough but fair. If you study hard, you'll do fine. I had a good experience because they pay attention and help us clear doubts. The exams went well for me. You need at least 50% to pass.

Placement: I was lucky to get a job as an engine cadet in M.Sc. SHIPPING thanks to companies like VR Maritime, Goodwood, Eastway, BW, Dynocom, and Marshall recruiting from our campus every month. If you do well in your studies, you'll have a better shot at landing a placement.

Campus: I really like a lot of things about my college. The campus is awesome with AC everywhere and hi-tech classrooms. They take discipline and being on time seriously, which is cool. The sports facilities and gym are top-notch. Our day kicks off at 5:30 with some running and exercise. After classes end around 3:45, we get to hit the gym and play sports. I'm part of the band team, so I practice music and marching every day.

Admission: The teaching in our course is top-notch! Our instructors are all experts who have worked as chief engineers, second engineers, third engineers, and Masters. They teach us a lot of practical stuff that helps us improve.

Placement: Half of us in our class already got jobs in companies like M.Sc., Zodiac Maritime, and Synergy. The rest of us are waiting to hear back from big names like Berge Bulk and MOL. Hopefully, we'll all land great jobs soon!

Campus: The college campus is really nice with cool labs like AMW, BSW Seamanship Lab, Electrical Lab, Automation Lab, Virtual Reality Lab, ER Resource Lab, and Ship Simulator. They even have a ship on campus where you can learn hands-on about ship machinery. It's a great way to learn and understand things better.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really great. They know their stuff and teach well. When it comes to semester exams, they give us good practice to get ready for the final IMU exams. You need at least 50% to pass the DNS course here. The academic block is a bit small, but it's okay.

Placement: When we had our interviews with a company, we're still waiting to hear back from them. Every year, big companies like M.Sc. Fleet, Demico, and Wallem come to hire students. Most of us end up getting picked by these companies, like M.Sc. Fleet, Demico, Dockendale, and Wallem, to work as cadets.

Campus: The hostel is really nice and clean. They clean the bathrooms every day, which is great. I like that they have a small football ground, and courts for volleyball and badminton. The food in the mess is good too.

Admission: The teachers at IMI are pretty good, better than I expected. Some of them have real-life experience in the industry, like captains and chief engineers. But others come from different backgrounds for practical subjects. The semester exams are challenging, but fair since they're made by IMU.

Placement: I'm in my fourth year at IMI, and almost everyone is placed in good companies. The placement rate is 100% for those who meet the requirements. Only 2 cadets didn't get placed because they weren't eligible for the company exams. It's a good place to get a job after graduating.

Campus: The facilities at IMI are okay. The classrooms and library are nice. The labs are just okay, but the food in the mess is really good. They give us Tata medical cards for up to 4 lakhs, which is great for medical expenses. The game and sport facilities are decent too.

Admission: The HIMT teachers really know their stuff when it comes to sailing. They not only teach us the basics but also share their own sailing stories. They talk about handling emergencies, fixing problems, and staying tough on the ship. It's cool to learn from their real-life experiences!

Placement: I'm really happy with the placement scenario at my college. Around half of my batch got placed, and the rest are in line for upcoming interviews. The salary package depends on which company hires us. Some of the companies that come for recruitment are Marshall Ship Management, Zodiac, M.Sc. Damico, Seven Islands, and Maersk Line.

Campus: The lab facilities at HIMT are top-notch, and the instructors really know their stuff. They have cool labs for things like machinery, seamanship, engine simulation, and even a ship on campus! Plus, they offer good medical services too.
