Admission: The professors are really good at what they do. Some of them have practical experience in fields like TV journalism, cinematography, and event management. They encourage us to pursue our interests and share their knowledge to help us learn what's best for us. It's awesome!
Placement: I'm currently doing my master's and just finished my second semester. I haven't landed a job yet, but I know the university has a placement cell to help students find work. The faculty also helps us prepare for interviews and exams, which is pretty cool.
Campus: The Central University of Himachal Pradesh doesn't have a permanent campus yet. They're using temporary classes in different blocks. The university has three campuses: Shahpur, Dhauladhar, and Dehra.

Admission: The teachers are super helpful and know their stuff really well. They teach using whiteboards and PowerPoint, which is great. The student-to-faculty ratio is 15:1. We didn't have much industry exposure, but the course curriculum is really helpful for exams like NET-JRF, JEST, and GATE.
Placement: The physics department doesn't have placements for M.Sc. students, but the syllabus helps many students pass their NET exams. Even though there's no placement cell, the department organizes visits to labs for hands-on learning, which can lead to job opportunities.
Campus: The Wi-Fi works fine here, and we all get our own IDs for internet access. The department labs have around 60 computers, but there aren't enough equipment. Classrooms are tidy with projectors in each one. The library has all the books we need for our courses. They have a sports meet every year that goes on for 2 weeks. The food in the canteen is okay. The hostel rooms are nice, but there aren't many of them. The campus is small, but everything is well-organized.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and supportive. They cover all the topics in the course and explain things in a way that makes it easy to understand. The teaching is practical and prepares us well for the industry. The semester exams are tough to pass, with an 83% passing rate.
Placement: I'm really happy with the college placements. Around 200 students got placed in top companies. The highest salary offered was 17 LPA, while the lowest was 2.1 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA, which is pretty good. Lots of students get training and experience through the placements. Companies like GoGreen, Nalco, and Pool visit our campus. Also, 72% of students landed internships in NGOs. Great opportunities all around!
Campus: The college has great facilities like labs, classrooms, libraries, sports ID cards, and cabin lockers for each student. The toilets are always clean, which is nice. They also offer hostel accommodation that is well-furnished, spacious, and comes with access to water and electricity. It's a comfortable place to stay while studying.

Admission: The professors at our college really know their stuff. They teach us both theory and practical skills. They help us get ready for the real world and fill in any gaps in our knowledge. The exams aren't too hard, with a pass rate of around 33%. Overall, they work quickly and efficiently to help us succeed.
Placement: Most of us got jobs after graduating around 70%. The pay was really good. Big media companies hired many of us. We all did internships on our own. The top job was senior editor. This university has lots of departments for both bachelor's and master's degrees.
Campus: The campus had Wi-Fi, labs, and a cool library for projects. Fridays were for special lab sessions. Our hostel rooms were clean, and the maid cleaned them every day. Food was decent, especially for hilly areas. We had sports, medical help, and fun recreational activities too.

Admission: The teaching staff here is awesome both the permanent teachers and the guest faculty. All the professors and assistant professors are super qualified. Two DST inspire faculty, Dr Padmanabh Rai and Dr Rajesh Kumar Sharma, are helping design the labs. We have a sports meet every year, and we get to learn from new scientists through their special lectures. It's great to have such knowledgeable teachers around!
Placement: For B.Sc Physics Hons students, there aren't any job placements available. But after graduating, you can go for M.Sc and take the NAT exam. Some of our peers from the university passed the NAT exam - 2 PhD students and 1 M.Sc student in Physics. Also, 2 PhD students landed assistant professor roles at HPU Shimla and Lovely Professional University.
Campus: Our university is currently located in a temporary academic block (TAB) campus owned by Shahpur Degree College. The campus has great Wi-Fi coverage and LAN cables in the labs. The classrooms are spacious and clean, equipped with projectors. We have good sports facilities and a nice playground. Medical facilities are lacking, though. The canteen offers affordable, but limited food options. Hostels are nice and there's a bus service. Overall, I had no problems with the infrastructure during my time at the university.

Admission: I picked this course because I want to become a teacher. I'm teaching in a public school now. The department is really good. There are lots of professors, and the student-to-faculty ratio is great. The professors have high qualifications and teach us really well. Exams are based on semesters, and it's easy to score well if you study your class notes. The class size is around 60 students. The course fees are INR 18200 per year.
Placement: I got placed last semester through the campus placement program. If you pass the pre-test, you can participate in placements. In 2022, 18 MBA students landed jobs. The highest salary was 6 Lacs per year, while the lowest was 3 Lacs. We were hired as management trainees and HR executives.
Campus: The university rents the hostel building in Dharamshala. The rooms are really nice, with space for 2, 3, or 4 students. The rooms have tiles and there's a solar geyser. They serve tea twice a day. There's a bus service for students going to the far campuses in Dharamshala, Shapur, and Dehra.

Admission: The course material feels old-fashioned. It doesn't keep up with new tech like library automation and RFIDs. They still focus on old-school library stuff instead. But the teachers are really nice and committed to helping us out.
Placement: For my master's in library and information science, I had to do internships. In the past, the university helped students get internships at top places like IITs and AIIMS, both in and out of the state. But now, due to covid, the placement cells are not active. Plus, there's a fee for placement help.
Campus: The classrooms and labs are just okay. Wi-Fi works fine. There are two classrooms and a computer lab with working computers. The library is pretty tiny. Services could be better, especially the library hours. The hostel has everything you need, but it's far from Camp Cam. The food in the canteen and mess is delicious.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really know their stuff. They don't just talk about theory, they use examples and case studies to explain things. They want us to be practical and not just stick to theory. Even though we can skip classes, they always make sure we don't miss out on learning.
Placement: The university placements aren't great. Only small companies come for recruitment, and they offer low salaries, like 1.5 to 2 lakhs. Students have to work hard to find jobs. Most placements are for marketing and finance, and there are no opportunities for HR students. Hopefully, when the college gets its own building, they can organize more placement events.
Campus: Cuhp doesn't have its own campus, so they have classes in Shahpur, Dharamshala, and Dehra. The library is small with not many books for each department. The Wi-Fi is good, classrooms are shared, and they have two shifts for classes. The canteen is small with not many food options, but it's cheap. There aren't enough seats for students during breaks.

Admission: The faculty members at this college are the best part. They really make the college what it is. It's like being in a school with teachers who care. They pay attention to each of us, give us updates on assignments, and even offer extra classes to help us improve our skills. The syllabus is up-to-date with all the latest trends. The faculty members have industry experience, which is great because they can teach us practical skills. They use projectors in class, and everyone is really disciplined. We also get a lot of exposure to the industry, which is super helpful for getting placements and passing exams like NET/JRF.
Placement: I love how this college started their placement cell in 2017. Almost 90% of students here get placed in companies right after they graduate. Big companies like Cox and Kings, Thomas Cook, and MakeMyTrip come to hire students. It's great to see so many students getting job offers right out of college!
Campus: The college has great infrastructure for the fees, but it's still developing with temporary blocks. Once it gets its own structure, it'll be the best in the country. The classrooms have projectors and comfy theatre-style chairs. The library is well-equipped and the environment is peaceful.

Admission: The course is great when it comes to academics, I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5. But for the practical side, it's more like a 3 out of 5. The faculty team is awesome, they're experts in their field and super helpful. They're always open to suggestions and discussions. We also get help from research scholars which is cool. The course curriculum is really helpful, especially during our industrial training.
Placement: The campus placements are starting soon and our batch will be the first to go through it. Companies from all over North India will be coming to our university. Everyone, from students to faculty, is involved in getting the placements started. The MBA in Travel and Tourism students have a good placement record here. The faculty helped us get internships at big companies like Reliance in retail and finance. The internships mostly in North India and we got a good stipend of over 5,000 for each.
Campus: The university is currently using a temporary building, but they're working on finishing the main one by 2020. Even with limited space, they make the most of it. They have cool events like sports meet and management fests every year. The classroom furniture is really nice, and they have their own canteen with okay food. Boys and girls stay in city hostels with a bus service for 10,000 per semester. Everywhere you go on campus, there's Wi-Fi and computer labs. It's easy to find a spot to study or do research.
