Admission: Seeing my name on the merit list at DRC was followed by quick and organized document verification, and clear instructions for registration on the online portal, plus an informative orientation before classes.
Academic: Abroad-qualified teachers here are very helpful and the course material is relevant for industry readiness, but semester exams are tough since there are no mid-sem tests making it difficult to study everything at once.
Placement: This college is really nice, with many companies visiting to hire students. About 80% of students get internships here. Interestingly, 30% of insurance is given in the last year. Many students get internships and even placements in their third year, and it's cool that first-year students can also apply for these opportunities.
Campus: Buildings at our college include old well-maintained ones and new construction in progress, with some AC classrooms and some without, making summer a bit tough, but the greenery around creates a peaceful environment overall.

Admission: Joining Daulat Ram College was a smooth ride since merit list checking, online registration, and physical document verification all happened quickly with supportive staff, and fee payment plus orientation completed an organized process.
Academic: Hardwork makes semester exams simple because professors are mostly friendly and helpful even if a few are rude, but the lack of time to complete the syllabus leaves everyone rushing constantly.
Placement: In our college, if you have good skills and do internships, you will definitely get preference for placements. This year, the highest package someone got was 23 LPA, and the lowest salary was around 5 to 6 LPA. For B.Com honors students, about 75% get placed, but again, skills and experience are very important for this. Also, ICICI Bank hired 15-20 students from here. Most of the time, students look for HR and finance jobs.
Campus: Infrastructure-wise DRC is mostly average with many non-AC classrooms, small room sizes, Wi-Fi only in the library, weak Jio network, no sports equipment, a gym restricted to NCC or NSO or ECA students with fees, and a good but expensive hostel alongside slightly overpriced canteen food.

Admission: Getting admitted to Daulat Ram College was unexpectedly easy because the merit list came first, followed by smooth document verification and strong staff support, while the online registration system made joining simple right up to orientation.
Academic: Cleanliness is a big plus at our college, and passing semester exams is easy if you study regularly while teachers stay helpful in every way and the staff is always nice to students.
Placement: Many students ask about admission, and usually, you need around 70% marks to join this college. Placements are pretty decent here; the highest package was about 33 LPA, with the lowest being 4 LPA. The average package comes to around 6 to 7 LPA. A great thing is that around 80% of students also get internships through the college in big companies.
Campus: Hostel facilities at this college are nice with both AC and non-AC options, healthy and hygienic mess food, and a library available for students.

Admission: Applying to Daulat Ram College felt straightforward as the CSAS portal was simple to navigate for registration and preference filling, and after seat allocation came quickly the online document verification worked efficiently with smooth fee payment and timely orientation updates.
Academic: Generally, our teachers and faculty members here are really good, humble, and helpful, and the relevant curriculum plus the quality PDFs and expert suggestions make semester exams simple to clear perfectly.
Placement: When we talk about placements, the Vriddhi Placement Cell data tells us that 60% to 80% of students get placed. Big companies like Accenture, Wipro, and Deloitte come to our college for hiring. For internships, there are many programs from different groups. At Daulat Ram College, more than 200% of students get internships, and they even get a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000.
Campus: Services across our college are good with AC in the library, labs, and classrooms, a hostel mainly for distant students, a canteen offering tasty options, and hostel food that is even better and safer for girls due to good hygiene and proper cleanliness.

Admission: Verification at Daulat Ram College after checking the merit list was thorough but smooth, as the staff guided us step by step during registration, and orientation offered a good overview before classes started.
Academic: Trueness about DRC is that faculty members are superb and the course content is fine while semester exams are easy to crack with a month of study, though the fees charged are extremely high compared to other colleges.
Placement: I'm a B.Com. (Hons.) student here, and honestly, the placement situation is very concerning. From what seniors told us, which is totally true, only about 2 students get placed out of every 150 or 200. It's a really tight situation for me and others in my course.
Campus: Cost of the Daulat Ram College hostel feels extremely high at around two lakh rupees, nearly triple the usual government college fee, and even though security and the building are good, the amount does not match the quality.

Admission: Selection at Daulat Ram College came only after waiting through CUET results, and though the counselling portal felt clunky the preference registration worked out, while merit list confirmation, organized document verification, fee payment, and orientation all helped start classes confidently.
Academic: Clearly, the best part of studying this course at DRC is the teachers since most are top-class, friendly, and great mentors, and the syllabus plus activities are relevant while semester exams are easy with effort but internal assessments depend fully on the teacher.
Placement: What I noticed is that for Political Science Hons, you don't really get placements during the internship drive, unlike other courses. Most of the time, the only things you can get are NGO roles or working at a Think Tank. These roles often don't pay anything or give very little money even though you have to do a lot of work. So, honestly, it's usually not a good option to go for these.
Campus: Sports facilities on campus include a large complex and a big ground for events, with about 60 percent classrooms having AC though many feel small for the strength, while the hostel is said to be decent and the food they serve is healthy with good variety.

Admission: Applying to Daulat Ram College became a smooth ride thanks to a user-friendly portal and timely merit lists, with well-organized document verification and helpful staff during counselling that made final admission and fee payment easy before orientation.
Academic: Reality is that semester exams are easy to clear and the course content prepares us for jobs, but once outside you must handle everything alone while teachers stay strict in marking and accountancy teachers need improvement.
Placement: From what I've seen, the college brochure makes placements look much better than they are. The number of students who actually get placed is way less than what they show. They even write 16 LPA as the average placement package. But when I asked my seniors, they clearly said that 16 LPA is not the average at all; it's actually the highest package someone got. This tells you how bad the placements are here.
Campus: Commerce being the biggest department is surprising because students do not have separate buildings or classrooms, and the hostel lacking Wi-Fi is a major drawback since internet is essential today.

Admission: Entering Daulat Ram College for admission felt pleasant overall because the online application process was clearly outlined, and once cut-offs were released the document verification step was quick with helpful staff, while counselling sessions and final registration were efficiently handled.
Academic: Honestly, our course curriculum is really nice with a wide range of subjects to choose from and helpful teachers guiding us like mentors, while exams remain average and all assignments build skills useful for future jobs.
Placement: Last year, the placements weren't that good in my college, honestly. Only about 40-50% of students actually got placed, which is a small number. The highest salary someone got was 20 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, ICICI Bank, and Zepto did come for placements. We have this placement cell called Vriddhi, they try to help students with internships and workshops. They also arrange an annual internship fair, Incrementum, where big names like Swiggy, Amazon, Snacc, and Pw offer internships for roles like HR and Business executive. But from my batch, only a very few students actually got internship chances from this fair.
Campus: Infrastructure at our college is quite good with a library, computer labs, a common area, a rangshala, and a big sports ground, plus canteens like Amul and Nescafe for food, and a hostel behind the campus with decent facilities, though Wi-Fi works only in the library and labs and the mobile network across campus is extremely weak.

Admission: Checking the merit list for Daulat Ram College was the first step before moving into an online registration flow that went smoothly, and although document verification took some time the supportive staff and clear counselling schedule made the entire process hassle-free, with orientation provided after.
Academic: Frankly, for commerce students this college is average since some teachers are supportive while others teach badly and give low marks with stressful assignments, and the exam level is much tougher than what is taught like when basic financial accounting was taught but the exam was far more difficult.
Placement: Talking about placements, honestly, they are just average here. Most companies that come offer sales or calling jobs, and the pay is usually quite low. Even the well-known companies don't hire many students. We often see messages in our college groups about jobs with low salaries, and their descriptions always sound better than what they actually are. It's also hard to get internships. Many students get filtered out because of their marks or they just don't pass the interviews. The main roles offered are executive or sales types, which means a lot of networking and calling work.
Campus: Issues in our college include staff-only Wi-Fi that is extremely slow, drinking water scarcity because coolers are empty or unsafe, washrooms unavailable due to construction, poor classroom cooling, heavy timetable gaps, shortage of classrooms, restricted lab access without teachers, and computer labs usable only during class.

Admission: Registration through the DU CSAS portal for Daulat Ram College turned out efficient since online document checking was well-managed and communication about merit lists and counselling rounds came on time, and staff guided us properly through the whole process.
Academic: Mostly, what I like about this college is the faculty since most teachers are well qualified with PhDs and the syllabus in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, and Bioinformatics gives practical exposure even though some botany teachers skip study material and semester exams stay moderately tough.
Placement: In our college, about 55% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was around 19 LPA, and the average package was 14 LPA. Even the lowest package was decent, ranging from 3 to 5 LPA. Companies like Biocon, Serum Institute, and Abbott came for recruitment. They mainly offered roles like research scientist and clinical research associate, which are quite common here.
Campus: Facilities-wise the college includes about 50 classrooms of which 20 to 25 have smart boards and projectors, 18 well-equipped science labs including ones for neuropharmacology and cancer research, an AC two-floor library, a massive Sadbhavna Bhavan auditorium for 2500 people, an amphitheater, seminar halls, a sports complex for indoor games, a gym, and a big outdoor ground.
