Admission: When my selection was confirmed at DCRUST, the process felt clear and organized. The online application and counselling rounds were structured well, document verification was quick, and staff handled queries patiently, making joining hassle-free.

Academic: Our college has some excellent professors, they know a lot. But the whole system here is quite bad, so even these good teachers have to follow it and act the same. It often feels like we are just attending a school for four years, not an actual university. The curriculum they use seems to make a lot of students less eligible for placements on paper. Even students who study hard and get good marks sometimes get caught up in this kind of system. Like, I heard about a mechanical class of 45 students where over 20 of them got placed for jobs. But their degree extension for placement got cancelled just because of a teacher's ego. This kind of thing is unfair.

Placement: Talking about placements for my 2025 ECE batch, it was not good at all. The college didn't help with jobs. Only about 1-2% of students got placed, and that too because they found jobs themselves, not through the college. Only TCS came to recruit, which was quite disappointing. For internships, many students just made up fake letters and certificates to show. What bothered us ECE students was that no electronics companies came to hire. Also, IT companies often showed partiality, mostly picking CSE students over us ECE folks.

Campus: What I think about our college is, the mess here is a total waste of money. It's compulsory to pay for the mess, even if you dont eat anything. They say it's a non-profit thing, but it feels like a big scam for students. Also, the mess bills are not fixed and keep changing a lot. About the campus, the buildings are quite old, around 25-30 years old. Sadly, politics runs everything here. No one takes a stand for anything, and because everyone stays quiet, the money meant for development just gets divided up badly.

Admission: In my case, the admission steps at DCRUST were easy to follow. The merit list was released on time, counselling sessions ran smoothly, document verification was quick, and registration staff were helpful throughout the process.

Academic: At Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, you can find many courses, like for bachelor's, master's, and even PhD degrees, offered in different departments. They make sure the study plan and how we take exams meet all the academic rules for every course. The main focus is always on teaching us both theoretical stuff and how to use it practically.

Placement: So, our DCRUST college in Sonepat had quite good placements in 2024. Total 179 students got placed, which is a good number. Many companies came, around 38 in total, and some big names like TCS Digital, Quinbay Teach, and Veersa Technologies were there. Quinbay Teach Pvt Ltd gave the highest package, which was 7.57 Lakhs per year. It's nice to see so many companies coming to our campus.

Campus: At DCRUST (Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology), the BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) program is quite good, and they have nice infrastructure along with comfortable hostel facilities. For studies, we get well-equipped classrooms, computer labs updated with new software, and a big library that has all the right books. The hostels are also great, offering furnished common rooms, Wi-Fi, and healthy food in the mess. You can also play sports there like badminton, volleyball, and table tennis.

Admission: Overall, my admission at DCRUST felt transparent and structured. Online registration was easy, the merit list was timely, counselling sessions were organized, and staff guided document verification smoothly till final registration.

Academic: Our teachers are honestly not very helpful here. Many teachers are just visiting faculty, so you can imagine the teaching quality is pretty poor. Also, I think the course curriculum is not relevant for what the industry needs. Because of this, the university doesn't make students ready for jobs. The semester exams are quite predictable though, which means most questions are just repeated from previous years' papers.

Placement: Talking about placements, they are not so great at my college. In the Computer Science and Engineering branch, only about 30-40 students manage to get placed each year. The main company that recruits from here is TCS, and the average salary package offered is around 6 LPA. For other branches, placements do happen, but very few students actually end up with a job.

Campus: About the campus, honestly, the infrastructure is kinda below average. The roads inside are all broken, and the Wi-Fi connection is bad too. Not all classes have AC, which is a problem sometimes. For living, there are four boys' hostels and three girls' hostels for students. And the mess food is just average, you can eat it but it's not good.

Admission: For me, joining DCRUST turned out to be well-organized, starting with a user-friendly online registration portal and a timely merit list. Counselling support was good, document verification and fee submission were simple, and the overall flow felt structured.

Academic: The course curriculum in our college is totally updated and matches what the industry needs. Also, the teachers here are very well-educated and they make everything easy to grasp. They're super supportive too and explain all the concepts very clearly. About the exams, they're not too tough, like moderate, and if you prepare well, you can definitely manage them. Plus, most students clear them, so the pass percentage is usually high.

Placement: Placements are excellent for my course, no doubt. Almost 90% of students got jobs in big companies like TCS, Infosys, and Amazon. The highest package someone got was 64 LPA, and the average salary we see is 6 LPA. Most packages are usually between 4 to 20 LPA. Plus, lots of students also got internships in good companies with great roles.

Campus: Our college has good facilities. The classrooms are well-furnished and have AC. Our department also has modern labs, super fast Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms. The library is well-stocked with books. Hostel rooms are comfortable and decent. The mess and canteen have a good variety of food. Also, there's medical care and sports facilities to keep students balanced. Overall, everything here is top-notch.

Admission: During my application, I found DCRUST�s admission process quite organized. Counselling updates and document verification instructions were clear, registration staff were supportive, and there were very few unexpected issues along the way.

Academic: The teachers here are good and know their subjects well. Semester exams are not that hard as they seem, actually. Most of the questions are just based on basic methods and theories, they don't go too deep. For passing, earlier you needed 30 marks out of 75. But now, with the new system, the passing marks have changed to 40 out of 100.

Placement: If you're thinking about B.Tech Agricultural Engineering here, there's a good chance you'll get a decent government job in that field after finishing. The thing is, for B.Tech Agriculture, the actual placement situation is not very clear right now. That's because the first batch of students is just about to graduate. The staff for B.Tech Agriculture is okay for now, but a new department building is expected to be built soon. One company linked with our B.Tech Agriculture program is Eicher-Volvo.

Campus: Our college has three labs that are already fully ready. These labs have good, well-kept instruments and a much better setup. Yes, some other labs are still getting built, and work is still going on for them. They are also buying new instruments for our practicals and doing lab testing. All this will definitely make our practical work super easy and much more useful for us.

Admission: Applying to DCRUST turned out to be hassle-free for me. The application form was simple, merit lists were released promptly, counselling instructions were clear, and document verification was completed quickly with helpful staff support.

Academic: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, especially the ones in the CSE department. Their way of teaching is good too. The curriculum has been updated to NEP 2020, and I think it's much improved from before. Since it's a government college, you can say it's quite affordable.

Placement: I'm a CSE student at DCRUST right now. Honestly, the placements here aren't very good at all, and the selection percentage for students is even going down. It's a bit sad because the staff is quite good, and the placement office team also tries their best, but companies just don't come here to hire. Most of the students are good people, and a lot of them are from Haryana.

Campus: Talking about the hostel here, honestly, it's not the best. The rooms are in a bad shape, and even the washrooms are not good at all. Mess food is also not tasty. But, the good thing is the hostel staff, they are very helpful and supportive. Initially, it might be tough to adjust, but after some time, it feels fine.

Admission: Personally, the admission journey at DCRUST felt simple and efficient. Online registration worked smoothly, merit list dates were clearly communicated, and counselling sessions were well-managed with staff guiding document verification and fee payment properly.

Academic: The teachers at our college are helpful and super smart. Many of them have done their PhDs and are proper professors, so they know a lot about their subjects. They also make sure we get all the study material we need. For our course, the curriculum is very relevant and helps us prepare well for industries. Plus, the semester exams are not that tough, and we only need to score 30% to pass.

Placement: Around 40% of students from our course manage to get placed. The salary packages offered usually range between 3 to 4 LPA. TCS is the main big company that comes for recruiting students here. For internships, only those students who are good in their studies and have a good CGPA get them. The top roles we get are mostly junior assistant managers in the marketing section.

Campus: The college campus structure is pretty good, and it comes with all the useful facilities. We have Wi-Fi, proper computer labs, good classrooms, and a big library. There's also a nice auditorium for different events. Both boys and girls have hostel facilities available. And for food, you can find Nescafe and other canteens right inside the college.

Admission: Based on my experience, the admission process at DCRUST was well communicated. From checking the merit list to document verification, each step was clear, staff were supportive at registration, and onboarding felt quick and easy.

Academic: My college teachers are good, all of them have a Ph.D. in their subjects, so they are well qualified. The courses here are also like industry level, which is great. Like most colleges, we have two semesters, and each semester has two mid-semester exams. For exams, the total marks are 75. Plus point is, every university lab has very good internet connection.

Placement: Our college's placement rate hasn't been good for the past few years, to be honest. Even for the better branches like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical, the average salary package is only around 6 LPA. And sadly, very few students from these branches actually get a job with a package higher than that average.

Campus: Hostel life here is good. Our college has 4 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. All hostels, whether for boys or girls, have both single and shared rooms available. Some of these hostels are quite big, with one able to house 300 students. Especially for boys, the food in their hostel mess is very good.

Admission: From my experience, getting into DCRUST was fairly straightforward. The counselling process went smoothly, documents were verified quickly, and registration desk staff guided us well. Timely merit list communication helped reduce stress during joining.

Academic: The teachers in my department are mostly average, some are good too. But I feel there's not much connection between students and teachers here. A big issue is that the course syllabus is quite old, like some parts are still from the 1990s. This makes the curriculum feel outdated. On the positive side, our exams are conducted right here on campus, which is convenient. Honestly, I'd rate this college as below average overall.

Placement: For our 2025 batch, the placements are bad. Only one company actually hired students, and that was TCS. Other companies like Fidelity and L&T Online did take tests, but then they never told us the results. Nobody knows what happened there. TCS hired some students for their Ninja role, which has a package of 3.5 LPA. But honestly, even getting a job in TCS from DCRUST feels like a big dream for most. Our college's Training and Placement Cell is very poor, and that's why there are hardly any placements happening.

Campus: Talking about facilities here, the hostel is pretty much what you'd expect from a government college, just okay. The canteen food is also just average, nothing great. We do have sports courts, like for basketball, and also badminton and tennis. But honestly, these are super crowded most of the time, so getting a chance to play is rare. A good thing is, sometimes students play volleyball and cricket in the hostel area itself, which is a nice option.

Admission: At the start, my experience with DCRUST admissions felt slightly confusing due to glitches in online registration and delayed merit list communication. While document verification was manageable, staff seemed overwhelmed, though the counselling schedule itself was clear despite slow follow-ups.

Academic: The curriculum here is quite old, it has not been updated for many years. Most of our teachers dont show much interest in teaching students. We have exams regularly, but the way they check our papers is not at all clear, and there are some issues with it. The bad thing is that no one does anything to fix these problems.

Placement: Our college placements are not that great, you know. But most students can easily get a 3 LPA salary. Some of the good students can even touch 7 LPA. And the very top 1-2 students in our batch, they can sometimes cross 10 LPA too. It all depends on how capable you are and what your mindset is.

Campus: You know, the infrastructure here is pretty bad. Like, imagine, the roof in the CSE department just fell on the chairman's desk not long ago! And our hostels? They are in the worst possible condition. Honestly, the administration never does anything about these issues. It seems like the vice chancellor and the registrar are just eating up all the money meant for any development.
